help! unknown error

I was playing normally in crossfire at 9:59 PM EST in the new york time zone on 12/3/10, i was first disconnected due to unknown lag (my normal status is around 96, suddenly it went to around 8000 for a few seconds then went back to normal, i have a good computer) i then reselected a server when it said UNKNOWN ERROR, EXITING GAME. i then relogged in and it said that my account was already in game (i never told anyone my password or anything like that) i kept trying to log in and it keeps saying UNKNOWN ERROR EXITING GAME.

someone help me!

NOTICE: around the time i was suddenly lagging, a few minutes earlier one of the players was lagging but his ping was perfectly normal at 124, my ping was at 96 that time.

my computer will suddenly lag sometimes, even though i have very high FPS (up to 180, 80 minimum)

actually this is a [GAME ERROR] not a [CRASH ERROR]

everyone is experiencing this problem. i Dc'd 3 times in less than 20 mins. --

same here, don't worry dude this is just a server problem. Hopefully the World Wide server crashes will be fixed by tomorrow or tonight -.-
