so it's like this.....the "noob" gun is the gun owned by someone other than you who just pwnd you.

people say ppl are using a "noob" gun becuase a) they don't own it b) can't afford it c) don't know how to walk and shoot 2-3 rounds instead of tanking a mob at full spray.

ppl that call ppl noobs because of the gun they use need to shut the hell up. buy that gun and use it, leave your current game, or just get over it.

and stop calling everyone and their mother a noob cause they just pwnd you with the "(fill in the blank)"

I bet you use SL and Spop. Man if you think I can't handle SL or m12 your damn wrong, even if I DON'T have them in my inventory I can handle them. So the thing is the people (losers) which use those guns are considered noobs and that's a fact, so you should shut the **** up.

So tired of hearing people say this. If you're getting shot up by a noob that means you need more practice, it has nothing to do with the gun being used. Sure some guns have more power or lower recoil and if you're a good player you know how to deal with other players who use them. I laugh whenever I hear people moan about how this gun or that gun needs to be tweaked.

Once again, there are no noob guns only noob players.

    Carry on...

agree every gun can be good or bad depands on the player/player style!
  • How comes a total noobs pull out ultrakills on a regular basis with an M12 while he's unable to pull out even a double kill with an M4 than, Einstein? == ...

They don't, stop exaggerating your argument.
Total noobs are total noobs, they do not pull out ultrakills on a regular basis at all, no matter what gun they use.

Also refer to my previous posts. Have I EVER suggested that the gun does not affect how well you do? No. I am happy to accept that a total noob may do better with an m12s than with an M4. I just said that its less than most people think. (20% and maybe gets less as skill level get higher).

So let me repeat so that you FULLY understand.

    Kills=20-10% gun + 80-90% skill
As your skill level goes up, it should take some of that reliance on your gun to get kills away, replacing it with game sense.

SO, the less skilled you are, the more you rely on your gun to kill, therefore you may find that if you are low skilled, then getting an M12s may significantly improve your play.

As time goes on and your skill level increases, getting kills slowly becomes more skill based. You get significantly more headshots and you know all the camping spots and so on. When this increases, your reliance on the gun decreases, so it matters less what gun you are using.

In conclusion, since the gun only has a major effect on low skilled players, you should be able to take them out quite easily. If they are a highly skilled player with M12s, then you probably wouldn't do much better if they used a different gun against you.
  • if I use these noob guns to kill everyone on the opposing team, all by means of a hs, consisting of only 1-3 shots per kill, or per burst, am I still a noob? Because I can do that with any gun.

I think the way people use it detirmines if they're abusing the gun or not.

Note: I don't own any noob cannon that I know of except tommy and kriss, but I don't use, unless its MM because that's not competitive. And I'm normally using gold m4, ak-scope, or msg/dsr.
  • Actually, I pretty much agree with Henry. Personally I only use the noob weapons as a means to gain gp, and ONLY if i have won them from blackmarket. Regardless, hes ultimatly correct about those who depend on the weapon rather than to rely on skill aka people who use m12s, vs people who use m4

    Totally agreed.
