CPL in China.
You may be asking yourself? What the eff you see kay is CPL?
Well to be blunt, it's one of the most competitive leagues out there.
Well, for you people that know about it, well it's back.
Guess what game they're playing?

Yup.
You clicked it...you saw it.
CrossFire.
If they can do it, you can do it too, I guess...
From now on, I fully endorse every CFPug thread. Bruce1nr and I will only be destroying one thread a week with our amazing songs.
Sound fair?

CPL is an international league.
It used to run in the US a lot for big games with BIG prizes, that is until the arabian took over and killed CAL and CPL.
When I say big prizes...I mean like easily $3k for small games like Day of Defeat back when it was popular. -

we're better off pulling a COD4 or COD4-2 tourney as US players have different tastes. I don't see the US scene going back to something like 1.6/WON.
The more classic stuff like 1.6/starcraft is majorly in S. Korea. E-sports is a national sport after all:

I also don't know about any US teams wrecking face in China OR Korea. These guys border on the fanatic, and many famous gamers honestly get by comfortably in life with a serious career in this. They eat healthy, exercise, and GAME. Even the Chinese/Koreans that happen to be exchange students in the US are wrecking face. We need to compete really well against these overseas clans first before we attempt the Pacific. List of clans: #Classic (Korean), FGT/Clover/eLiTe/Fear/Trio (Chinese). Of which I think eLiTe has the highest average talent at the moment, and Trio has the strongest sniper (Popz). -

Caaaaaancer.Ok, I'm feeling a Team America and a Team Canada going over there and wrecking face.
But that would just cause issues about what client to play on.
Forget clients lol, we'll just put you guys on a plane XD -

you must be new to competitive fps games..... team Pandemic (from the US) ran away with most first place finish's at WSVG .... in games that matter
CF isn't going anywhere its a dead in game ..it is only popular in its own community...
once the new cod6 comes out you will see a decrease in Americans playing crossfire.
alot of people just play CF cause its a in-between game.
o yea....Area 51 would R@pe all.... American -

Represent. When it gets to the internationally competitive level, gaming is just like any sport; race doesn't give anyone an edge. -

I guess once we are talking about that level of skill, nationality really doesn't matter. It's just that I feel Korea and China are more crazy about e-sports compared to the US, and it's more accepted into mainstream culture. Oh well, you're right, I'm new, lol.
COD6 was the original term Activision used at first. But it was quickly retracted and renamed COD4.2 around the time when InfinityWard came out with their own announcement. So I don't think COD6=COD4.2
