Whys the game so laggy?

Why has the game been so laggy for the past 2 days, i've had on average 60+ ping more then normal, and so have my mates.

I have defrag'd comp, cleaned old files out, done several virus, spyware checks etc. I use game booster, turned off other unnecessary programs, reset my internet connection.

Nothing i do can reduce my lag on the game.. is there any problems with the servers? (as im not the only one who says its been laggy last couple of days)

EDIT: Just went on and tried playing, my ping was 270 + :S asked if anyone else had higher ping then normal and 3 people said they did, and 1 person said they messed around with gameguard.. is this true?

mines also been considerably more dubious, spiking every few seconds which is making play extremely annoying.

I cant actually play CF anymore the lags just too much, im dead before i even see the person.

Same here. 105 ping usually, 160ish lately.

I also get spikes, but ive been getting those from before my ping increased.

u think this is bad getting 50 and 60 over ur normal ping im getting 200+ over my normal ping!!!!!!!

Indeed, my ping is incredibly erratic these past couple of days. One time it settles at the normal 179, the other it would remain at 1100+ for a day.

trust me, its not my connection, i play other games just fine. And im not the only person whos having the excessive high ping since patch update.

I agree. Lots of people have higher than usual pings and this would be fine if it wasn't for the spikes which really render the game unplayable and irritating for me.

If this persists I'm just switching to A.V.A (online from tomorrow).


P.S. Moreover, from couple of days the servers are again messed up and can't start new game's (stating "Server is Full" when obviously it isn't).

Can they really stabilize the game permenantly?!?

Same here.
+20 above my average, spikes to (normal ping * 100) > 15700 every few minutes.
Third thread I reply to, in which GMs are yet to answer.

Its a simple question. WHY

Decided to go see what the ping was like today on my noob account, and on this picture, 6 out of 14 people have under 200 ping, and only 2 have under 150 ping.

I know full well that a couple of people in this pic (including myself) have much lower ping then this normally.



Wish a GM would say if somethings up (which it blatently is)

All the Canadian guys in my clan seem to be fine though.

Heh, maybe its intentional to keep us the fck out of NA servers once the UK one gets here.

dunno what to tell you guys and gals im in Florida and my ping has went from 70 to 58-60 here last cpl weeks

just annoying that z8 wont even address that theres this problem, and say if they are doing anything to fix it.
