Tips on Sniping
Simple tips on how to become better at sniping by SupaNoob.
Snipers you should use : Awm, Dsr since they are one hit snipers.
Be warned: Tips made me used on other guides and tips are from an experience sniper (me).
Styles of sniping-
Drag scope (Follow shot)
Hard Scope (When you wait for enemy to go to your cross hair)
Quick Scope (Exactly what the title means) '
No Scope
Major Tip 1: Always move the middle of your screen to the enemy which when you zoom in, you'll be close to the target. After that just drag your mouse either a tiny bit to the left or right and BAM! Also try to keep your scope out as much as possible. Its hard to see other things if your in scope. Also by moving the target to the middle of the screen, you'll soon learn how to quick scope.
Tip 2: Always move around when sniping. When standing still the chance of you dieing is x10 greater. Of course when you move your shot isn't exactly at the red dot. To change that all you have to do is move and when your about to take the shot stop for about 1 second and shoot.
Tip 3: Not sure if this actually works. Trust in your sniper and trust that you'll make the shot. Never get frustrated. You'll notice that you'll snipe a lot better if you are relaxed and having fun (Works for me :P)
Tip 4: Always get cover just in case you miss. Keep in mind that snipers aren't suppose to be attackers and just rush. Just chill out the back of map and pick of any enemy's running around. Snipers are meant to be supporters from the back.
Tip 5: Not really a tip but sniping isn't noob. You may be camping at some spot but at least is takes skill. Eye coordination, and pin pointing. Sniping is better than using a m12 or kriss.
Tip 6:When about to attempt a no scope, try to crouch when you are going to shoot. You'll find that the shot will be more to the middle than when you are standing.
Tip 7: If your just trying to improve your sniper skills and only your sniping skills, i suggest that you don't bring a pistol along. It'll teach you how to handle opponents in all sorts of different situations.
Tip 8: When dealing with sniper campers: There are always more than one way to deal with them. You just have to find them. Also, don't try to rush them take your time.
Tip 9: Theres nothing wrong with using the second scope in the awm or any other snipers. First of all it doesn't make you a noob and its a lot better than using the first scope. Remember that if your target is too far away from the 1st scope, use the second one.
Tip 10: If it is necessary ,you can always run away and reposition yourself so that you have a better chance of killing the target.
Tip 11: It takes practice to get better. Here are some places which you can improve in different parts in sniping.
Manoco / Prison (Improves long distance accuracy) - Stay at back of map and pick of people who are standing still using tip 2. After you get the hang of this start taking people down when they are moving around which when you stop moving you will have to move your mouse quickly.
Prison (Improves short-mid accuracy) - You always want to stay in scope during the long hallways cause you'll never know when the enemy is there. Also make sure you move a lot unless your confident in your shot.
FFA maps (Improves everything i guess) - FFA maps are the most fun when its full with 16 people. You'll find that there will be many enemies and basically no time to reload. You won't know what will come at you so use what you know to kill
Egypt (Improves short-mid accuracy) - This is personally my favorite map to snipe in. I find that Egypt improves your accuracy and your reaction time quite quickly. You'll learn that there will be many people to shoot from so always stay out of scope. And if your camping, try not to. Its a lot more fun if you don't camp and fun around at the battlefield.

Nice tips, but when I snipe, I don't "Camp", because after you get the first a pick from the same spot for a few rounds, everyone with an iq greater than a rock is going to know your spot, and prefire it with a rifle/sniper next round.
I dunno about anyone else, but if I miss more than 2 shots against a rifler, assuming I'm not dead, then I take out my pistol/knife and run depending where I am. Also helps to be unpredictable when sniping, if you snipe from one spot, say long B on EE, try getting a few picks down A next round, then go get frags from that crack down mid.

Of course its a good idea if you run away and repostition yourself so thats a good tip. Im kinda sleepy....lol -

all i do is run up with knife then pull out sniper with no scope and HeadShot

ya, i tend to run around alot when sniping, i rarely camp anymore since people prefire any corner now >.<
