IGN Name Changes.

- i saw a guy in-game, and he had a Question Mark at the end of his name?
i was just wondering whether does anyone know how to do it??
or is it patched already?

He abused the name change bug by having special letters in his name when changing his name. It's an old bug though, so I don't think it works no more.

It's not meant to let us use special characters but [ ] and a few more. If you can use other characters it's considered as a bug.

There is a way to do it, but the person who found out would like it to remain anonymous. Sorry, just make a regular name. Please note, name changes also enable you to have 1 or 2 letter names. They also let you have periods.

i wasn't that desperately needing to change my name with that character, i was just curios on how i've seen so many people have it in pubs today.

It was exploited a while back in the summer, and it was patched, but they couldn't change their names as they paid for the name, so, technically, they have a rare username.

I still think that 1-2 letter usernames that are original [A-Z, or English two letter words] are the best choice of usernames. For example, my username is Hi. I wouldn't trade that for any username with a question mark in it.
