Hey u guys know the gun everyone calls suckish because of teh ammo and the low power? Yep famas is da name! Well ive had one from black market for about 4 weeks and used it a few times. Till today. I was bored of using my black market m4 so i swaped over to my Famas. now im sad that i didt do that any sooner, for teh gun is good now i find. AND MINE ONLY HAS 6 HOURS LEFT AS OF THIS POST!!!! The gun is better tehn most people think. I was using it in Monico and had a score of 48-9 with the gun, and 15/16 shots were head shots, most of which were far range. So here is a field guide on the goodness of da famas
The Famas.
The gun is shot on ammo and may have little power, but the gun is just as lethal as any gun. At teh chest iwould estimate about 2 clicks with triple fire burst will do it. Far range is a little bit more difficult then close range, especially against snipers. Always aim for teh head, no matter what. if you aim around the neck with triple firing burst on, chances are its gona be a head shot. Not only that but the gun is very hard to break and sturdy, You know how most black market guns only take about 2500GP to repair if broken all the way? Not this fella. It takes a large 10000 GP that u can get once u break the little guy. Then gun Is also very light and versitle. Its also not comenly used and very easy to get a head shot with.

Well the famas takes an emence amout of skill, and if up for a challenge, try to use this small compact gun. Fun to use and you can get your head shots uppp and if ur super good with it, you can take anyone on from anyrange, especailly those noobs who by the cheap guns -.-
now why dont use the famas if you already got it from the black market? The gun is better tehn everyone says it is, and its one of the most fun to use!!! FAMAS FTW!~,~

I totally agreee on this one, I get ACE's with this gun on monaco
just have to learn how to use the tripple fire mode, and youre done.
just lower your sensibility a little bit, and you can POWN snipers with this.
its great for Hshootting, my clanmates sometimes wonder how can I kill with this gun.
sometimes I even do better than them when their using ScarrL -___-'
its great that the've putted it in black market otherwise I wouldnt have never used it -
I like the famas also, i find it incredibly accurate and very reliable, the hard part about using the famas is learning when to switch from full auto to burst fire, once u figure that out your scores will increase, on full auto it spews ammo out faster than an uzi it seems but far more controllable, easily taking down 3-4 rushers in a clip, and the burst fire is great for long range, and it sounds sooo neato !! all in all i like the famas, and would gladly use it if I didnt have my eye on other guns, Id like to get a black market one for fun, great money makers the temporary guns.... use em and abuse em and never fix em, and when their gone their gone... hehe

ok, u overstimated it a little, i think... i have it, and ill have to play with it for a long time, i always get it from BM, for about 2 crates and use it until it ends (this gives me about 5-7 k gp per week) so i dont need to buy a "real" 1, and i think it is one of the worse guns... i'm with it about 3 weeks now, and i dont get its point, theres much way better other weaps around.

Terrible gun, the long range 3shot is decent, but because bursting with any guns is fairly easy in this game, it makes it obsolete.
Close range it gets destroyed usually because of awkward spray pattern and weak bullets.
That being said, it shoots very fast so if you are decent you could do well at close range. Gets through bullets super fast. -
FAMAS is highly accurate, and the 3 round burst is awesome. The gun is underrated, though as they have said use the G36K it's better at the role it's intended for. The FAMAS should be used like an AUG, though it suffers from the less ammo and weak power.

ive used the famas quit a bet it is a good gun very easy to use , the only prob i have is i run out of amo to fast, if it had more amo i would do alot better with it. Wellnot that i would do better just be able to stay in the match longer , know what i mean?

No, the FAMAS is ****.
I used to own one on my main, with an aug.
It's used nothing like the aug, the triple burst can be thought of more as a slower version of the AK47, with reasonable shot accuracy and the "rest" stage can be compared to the recoil cooldown on the AK.
If you know how to switch between modes efficiently, its not the worst weapon in the world, but its close. The damage is horrendous, and triple shot is not a OHKO headshot at range. If you're going to pick off heads, the aug/sig scope with single taps not only comes out MUCH faster than burst, but also does more damage at range.
I switched it out for my M4 eventually.
Moral? It's not awful, but compared to other rifles in the game, it is. Still better than the G36 though. *shudders* -
