why does it say client number something every time I play in mutation mode?

Do you disconnect?

I think it happens if you take damage from anything, shots/fall/nade, and it gives you that thingy.

I had a boddy protection last game then a dread broke it and I got disconnected from the room but the other times I was playing normally and got dced
