They should be able to kill a knifer in a sniper match easily on mid range distance.
On close range distance they should QS or no scope

I only knife when someone else tries to knife me, but it shouldn't be that hard to kill someone whose knifing and you got a sniper.

Yes, knife is for noobs, the funny on sniper modes is shot in the guy near you without a scope, this is who makes sniper matches funnies so if you come on knife it will not be good.
