Problem installing because of "RF017.rez" error

Every time i try to install Cross Fire the installation stops about 1/5 of the way because "an error occurred while trying to copy a file: the source file is corrupted." the file is RF017.rez. The options are to ignore, abort, and retry, but regardless of the option i choose, the outcome is the same. The rez file never installs. I've tried rebooting and redownloading multiple times and im pretty sure my computer is 100% virus free.

Yea...Im having the exact same problem. I even reinstalled my OS seeing if that would fix it. Ive tried all the Mirrors and a Torret but nothing is working? If a GM could PLZ let us know where to download the game at or if the mirrors are messed up atm. Im rly frustrated at trying to get this to work. Any info would be very helpful.

it askes u when it give you that error
click try again
dont click continue

I tried clicking retry for about an hour, every time I did I got the same error.

Hi.
Try this, i did it and it works to download and install but there is many updates after this.

So what. its a free game so it is not unlegal to download.
It works i have played it after 9 uppdates which come automaticly.

well i think yu dled a corrupted file thats what happened to me... try dlign teh 3rd mirror that one works

Are u sure the 3rd mirror work?
Because Xan66 said he tried it all..
I also have the old version of the installer, but when installed it, it says I need a new one and these are all corrupted .___.
That rly sucks..
I think that guys wanted to fix the bug with the RF017.rez, but that actually failed and now we have a real problem ^^
In fact, all other *.rez after RF017 are not able to install..
Because when u ignore 17 the same error comes with 18, 19 and so on..
C´mon guys, we need a new installer -.-

Ok, have the same problem. Tryed all those downloads (thx god i have unlimit internet) and in every case i have the same problem.
But...u guys (and me too) need to find some way without any help of GMs or admins. You know why? Because since this game become a z8games game, the Cross fire start to be a very suck game with lots of fckn cheaters, without any Teh. help of admins, with lags and etc. I remember this game when it was in Cuba games, and i really missed by it.
ALL OF THESE Z8 people first of all think about money! We have many different patches for the new real-money items, and many other sh*t, that we really don`t need for now.
All that we need it`s a clear game without fckn hackers. We need a nice teh. support that can answer on our simple questions. We need the servers without BIG ping. But they don`t understand....
Now i see why many of my friends and many players at all come to a new online shooter AVA.

And now...CAN SOME1 FROM ADMINISTRATORS EXPLAIN TO US WHY THOSE GAME CLIENTS IS BROKEN? OR HOW WE CAN INSTALL THE GAME?

ive tred 1 mirror 2nd mirror 3rd and 4th it dosent work
