Is the M4-custom worth the money?

I already own a M4A1 and love it, sure the power is a bit low but I've owned one for a year and can get kills easily with it. The reason I'm considering a M4-Custom is because my main competition are 2 things, Scar lights and the SPOP. As i said im a tank with an M4 but if they couldn't hear me, well, i'd live longer and the red dot could help for longer range.
The thing is I'm saving for a Xbox 360, and would like to spend as little as possible. So my question to you is, is the M4-custom worth the about $40CAD I'd spend on it(coupons) and will i notice myself doing better with it? And remember i own pretty hard with the M4 as it is.

Take it from someone who knows (if you know who this person that knows is please tell me cuz i have no clue), lol, the M4-C is an amazing gun. Silent, fast firing, expanded clip, insane scope for long distance fun. This gun would be a very good upgrade from the m4A1. But not needed. This game is designed for people to be able to own without having to spend money, so if youre already owning with the m4a1, then why bother? Youre on your way to a 360, and its your choice completely. You can get the m4a1-c, a good gun, or you can say, to hell with that, its a free FPs and ima get a 360! Now, i spend money on this game cuz i love it. If you have a passion for it as i, then feel free to, otherwise, i'd have to say don't spend your money on one gun

you arn't going to get an m4 custom with 40$ CAD. unless you already have saved coupons. cod6 will own but if u did get m4 custom your reaction will likely be:
wow why is the recoil so much higher, omg this silencer gets annoying after a while. oh cool the red dot is pretty good though.... also getting an xbox isn't the smartest of choices either, as you will likely get the notorious red ring of death. the failbox360 has a disastrous reliability issue. -

Thanks for the help guys, I'm gunna keep the M4A1, but I'm buyin an AUG as a sniper(i never use my Dragunov) and ill save for a 360(sonnovabiiiich im now officially 2 halo games behind :<) and my dad has a PS3 and although i like it, i find most of the games for it that i like are usually for 360 too(Uncharted is a great shooter PS3 game, and so is the 2nd). The PS3 is cool and all, but it's no Halo, and now the red ring is covered for free repair. -

hello i have had the custom m4a1 for a while now and to be honest the its not a scope on it its a red dot and its pretty worthless its like ur cross hair excapt is moves around when you walk
i like the m4a1 advanced better cause it is the same thing with out the red dot but has 5 more bullets other then the red dot and a silencer its the same as ur standard m4a1
ill admit that the silencer is very good though but the red dot in my opinion is worthless whish it was a scope instead -

I agree with the scope thingy...
I think it's the biggest weapon if you look it from the side.. from bottom to top. -
I loove the m4 custom but I've been using it for about like 3 months now and I'm switching around the m4c, m4 G, and Scar L lol. Idk i just like using various guns. The m4c imo is a really good gun it has a amazing ROF and the recoil just feels alot better than the m4. The m4 regular is really good to hs with because the recoil just makes it jump up to the head if you aim at the shoulders and burst a couple of bullets. The m4c on the otherhand is accurate but the recoil makes it jump too high if your spraying so it has a 50/50 chance of winning is QQC. Imo i think you should get the m4 custom if you play this game alot and not switch to COD MW2

it doesnt have an expanded clip it has 30/90 clip whereas the m4 advanced has an expanded clip
