Cf problem... Frozen screen

Hi guys, this is my first post here and unfortunately it's for a problem...

I downloaded CF, I installed it, I updated it.

Then, I double click it, it loads fine but when I get to put my Username/ Password , the screen is frozen, and I cant type anything. PROBLEM NUMBER 1

Another problem for me is that when I double click it, I get a white screen and the window says " CROSSFIRE (DOES NOT RESPOND) " . PROBLEM NUMBER 2

If anyone can help me, I would be really happy

Windows Vista 32 bit (Basic)
Intel Quad 2.5 GHz
Geforce 9500 GT 1 GB
4 GB RAM

Try running it in compatibility mode. Right click on your shortcut and go to properties,click on the compatibility tab and change the mode to the level of windows lower then Vista. This should work.

Ok, I defraged CF, but when I run it , when I get asked to type my username/password, I can't click the boxes and I can't type. My mouse has a blue circle next to it ... something's loading??? Oh and when I press CTRL+ALT+DEL, I can't see neither CROSSFIRE nor GAMEGUARD on the running applications.

P.S. I have set the compatibility to XP SERVICE PACK 2
