Aug is very good for headshots and for long range so try to snipe with the aug and aim for the head, aug is the best assault rifle for long range but not very good at close combat. In close combat aim for the head

hmm...close range i always aim for knees with aug. It works REALLY well. Try it.

if u can handle all weapons you can pwn but LOTS of PRACTiCE is all what a good PLAYER need....

If you want add me on xfire, I can show you a thing or two. Your best bet would be to hit up BaMF he has used it for quite a while.

Honestly the AUG is an amazing rifle, if its damage was slightly higher I would probably use it as my main rifle. However due to game mechanics its simply not favorable to use it in many situations.

Maybe if I find some spare time I can write up a short guide focused on spraying with the AUG its not bad honestly...

The Steyr has bad recoil but if you can control it it doubles and an SMG! What you have to do is not move, even slowly, while your shooting. Stop, shoot, move again. The scope bounces around a lot, but if you don't move at all while shooting the first 4 bullets are really actually quite accurate. Always wait for recoil to stop completely before shooting again zoomed in. Also, I suggest not using the scope for mid range, if you dont spray it functions about the same as an M4A1. Always find a safe spot to reload as it takes a while, and although its hard to wait until you have a good shot at the head scoped in, by the time you body shot 100 damage you could've gotten two headshots.

Practice and get a good feeling of the gun. If you find that you cant, you move on to a different one.

I quite like the AUG. It's good for med-long range. It's also a headshot monster, and decent at countering snipers.

Hm not quite, the AUG has more spread then recoil (compared to the m4a1).
