Hedonism why is it wrong?

1) Assumes that welfare = exp. pleasure avoid pain
2) Only pleasure has pos. value and only pain has neg. value

Simplified I know but it will do...

Back to the start, I think its wrong for many reasons.

1) Ignores that some may prefer values such as justice or equality.
2) Willing to trade "real" experiences for a "false" existence eg. Cypher in the Matrix who avoids that pain of living in the "real" and works towards going back into the "wired".
3) I believe someone with out a reason to live would not have a good life regardless of how much pleasure they may experience.
4) We do some activities because we enjoy the activity in and of itself. eg. superkiller123 plays CF, they do not gain pleasure from playing CF but they do so because they like to play CF.

Things I find funny.

3) Decartes

I should probably sleep, you know something needs to be looked at when you find philosophy funny.
