U have to be closer to the server to get lower ping.
But 250-270 is okay
I have like 200-300 but im still good at it and keep on getting ace.
250-270 IS NOT OK.. Leave CF plz..guys before ur new mini patch i had a ping 210 now my ping is at about 260-270 why do i have that ping and how can i get it back to 210.is there a way that i can make it go lower?

FOR REAL. Laggers r so annoying. IMHO, hackers are only a bit worse then laggers. Both ruin the game. Trying to kill sum ghost who JUST WON'T DIE? Being on a ghost team and can't kill a GR or see one of ur one ghosts be the last one alive left running in a lag, GR's unloading clips upon him? Playing a knife match and having to be lucky and stab him abnormally-earlier then normal to compensate for his lag, and kill him before he teleports again? HEARING EXTREMELY LOUD SHOTS because the game might process his burst as one shot cuz he lags so badly. Well then, because of laggers, I suppose it's perfectly fine to ban Australians, Africans, Europeans, Asians and more from playing, just cause their ping is high than Americans? That's absolute bull. I don't want to have to lose my privilege to play this game just because of something that I cannot do anything about. Same as all my Aussie friends around town who got me hooked on Crossfire on the first place.
In fact, by theory if you are banning laggers, you should ban anyone who doesn't own the server, as they all have lag. -
Welcome to Australia. The best download is 26kb/s and it costs the same for 1mb/s in the USA. In Australia the government does not see the importance of electronic infrastructure, and thus make no laws to regulate ISPs. The same thing with phone companies, here the phone companies charge you just to view your own credit.

well i dont care about people in africa...why should i...and whats the point of playing a game with laggers and hackers...its like driving a car that gets 2 miles to the gallon. If it was like that noone would drive. i think that if your ping is above 220 you should have to go to your own lag server
