The Question of Ignorance?
What's your view on individual ignorance about what is going in the world? Especially Americans... (not be stereotypical but I had to say it because it is a giant problem within America)
I really think education of the parents really affect their kids' view of the world. Also, the individual's exposure to unbiased media (like BBC, not Fox News) really affects too.

tbh im american and i have to say we are ignorant i am the most racist person i know and my parents arent like that i stereotype so much i get in trouble so here its pretty bad -

Unless you really became absorbed into it then yeah, it can do that.
Family guy is a animated TV show. Everything that goes on in it is made for laughs for the viewers to keep watching. It's animated, not real.
Same goes for the reality shows. 75% of those are scripted. -

good point maybe just most of my class is absorbed or im a bad influence cuz i suck at ethics -
i find that shows created in the country reflect the current pop culture that is influencing the country. Although i rarely or never watch reality tv series, cartoons like such as Family guy or simpsons. I watch BBC, teletoon retro (Transformers and inspector gadget!), and alot of discovery.
But yea, tv shows don't influence a person's thinking or behavior unless the person in question gets absorbed into them, and is "brainwashed" -

I live in georgia,the most ignorant people are ghetto black people/red necks or ****y mexicans.
On that note,some of the coolest people are Black,most mexicans cant even speak english.Alot of people are fat,but alot are really skinny lol. Red necks are just plain out ****ing ******ed and try to start **** so much,and think everything is gay.
Some americans are ignorant/blind *******s but some of them are just plain out cool.
Greece has the hottest girls though. more of the eastarn/souther side of america has ugly fat ass people that eat way to much mcdonalds,thats so true its not even funny. -

That's the human nature, the media is only accelerating the process. Personally I only read news 5-10 minutes per day, at maximum, just to know what the hell is happening. TV news I watch once per week. I only keep EuroNews as a news channel. Though I still have fixed ideas about countries and people. I always avoid to talk about armies, war & nationalism with Americans, that's one of my stereotypes.What's your view on individual ignorance about what is going in the world? Especially Americans...
