Signatures.

I always wondered why we aren't allowed to have pictures in our signatures.

A day ago I asked, and someone replied that it would take ages ago to make the page load...
This isn't true.

I used to play another game, and it is using the exact same forum like z8 is... Guess what? pictures are allowed. And it doesn't take longer to load pages ( at least not for me )

On that forum users are allowed 400x135 pictures, and high ranked people ( they use an reputation system ) can go to 600x135.

I realy want The staff to think about this, it gives you the chance to personalize your forum account a bit more...

I don't want you guys to let us use 1000x948 pictures, just small ones.


What do you guys think? Pro's and con's plz

No, I joined 1 month after Z8 bought CrossFire from Subagames, so can't really tell you

WDF this is a fps game, anyone playing this is should have a good internet speed, so i see no point in not allowing people to have img singatures

If I remember correctly this was the issue.

They will not allow it because people would abuse the privilege by posting inappropriate things, such as drugs, profanity, or another item that is against the ToS. A GM can correct me on this, but this is what I saw as the reason. Try searching around the forums for other posts like this. I know there are some around. It's just a matter of not being lazy.

Technically isn't it the same with the avatars? That is the worst reason ever

Checking a picture on inappropriate things never takes more time than checking a tl;dr-type of text.

A picture in your signature is realy a comon thing...
Most forums use it...

If you want I can give an example of a forum who is also using this... The problem is that it's from another game and it can be seen as reclame.

There are actually multiple reasons why they arent allowed and it isnt really up for discussion as its been answered several times. They may come in the near future though.

For the Millionth time on this forum. NO ONE BOUGHT ANYONE.


It's the SAME Company. NEW Portal name, NEW PORTAL website. And We AREN'T paired up with Wicked Entertainment anymore. NO one bought ANYONE. G4Box still runs this show.
