The goal of this guide is to give the facts about some GP assault rifles, SMG and MG.
Only facts, no opinions except maybe in the comment part. Every facts have been verified twice. Damages have been tested at short range.

M4A1 (assault rifle) 30/90 ammo repartition


Damage to chest: Around 35
Damage to legs: Around 21
Damage to feet: Around 20

Bullets per second: 10.4
Reload time: 2.56 sec
Switch time: 1.13 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Good, goes up a bit.

Comments: Good for all modes, except Mutation Mode maybe. Very accurate. An all-round weapon for either beginners or expert players.

K2 (assault rifle) 30/90 ammo repartition


Damage to chest: Around 34
Damage to legs: Around 21
Damage to feet: Around 20

Bullets per second: 9.3
Reload time: 2.95 sec
Switch time: 1.3 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Very good.

Comments: Good in SND and FFA. Good spray pattern, even while moving. IMO, too slow rate of fire/too long reload time/too much heavy. Not a bad gun tho.

AK-47 (assault rifle) 30/90 ammo repartition


Damage to chest: Around 40
Damage to legs: Around 24
Damage to feet: Around 24

Bullets per second: 8.64
Reload time: 2.35 sec
Switch time: 1.25 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Goes up a lot. 3-4 shots burst is better.

Comments: Good for every modes, but too noisy in Ghost Mode. Strong recoil with very high damage. I recommend to practice in Alaska or Crossroad before buying it. IMO, the best assault rifle in the hands of a expert.

Steyr Aug A1 (1.5X or 2X zoom scope assault rifle) 30/90 ammo repartition

Damage to legs: Around 20
Damage to feet: Around 21

Bullets per second: 10
Reload time: 3.15 sec
Switch time: 1.25 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Goes upper left or right, 3-4 shots burst is better.

Comments: Good SND and FFA. Awesome 1-shot-burst-while-scoping accuracy. IMO, bad spray pattern and long reload time.

SG 552 (1.5X or 2X zoom scope assault rifle) 30/90 ammo repartition

Reload time: 2.9 sec
Switch time: 1.15 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Very good at short range.

Comments: Good for all modes, except Ghost Mode (too noisy). IMO, good spray pattern while rushing and standing.

Damage to feet: Around 19

Bullets per second: 9.3
Reload time: 2.52 sec
Switch time: 1.3 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Goes up a lot. 4 shots burst is better.

Comments: Good 3-4 shots burst efficiency. IMO, weird fire sound and feeling. High damage trough wood obstacles. An all-round weapon.

Damage to chest: Around 31-33
Damage to legs: Around 21
Damage to feet: Around 22

Bullets per second: 10.8
Reload time: 3 sec
Switch time: 1.15 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Fast and great.
5 shots burst while scoping accuracy. Awesome, it's perfect.
Comments: Good for all modes, except Mutation Mode maybe. Incredible 5-shots-burst-while-scoping accuracy. IMO, weird spray pattern.

RPK (Machine Gun) 80/80 ammo repartition

Damage to legs: Around 21
Damage to feet: Around 21

Bullets per second: 9
Reload time: 3.5 sec
Switch time: 1.45

5 shots burst accuracy: Too high recoil. 3-4 shots burst is way better.

Comments: Low weight for a machine gun. Similar as AK-47, but with stronger recoil and slower rate of fire. Recommended for Mutation Mode and Ghost Mode only.

M60 (Machine Gun) 100/100 ammo repartition


Damage to chest: Around 43
Damage to legs: Around 22
Damage to feet: Around 21

Bullets per second: 8.9
Reload time: 3.3 sec
Switch time: 1.45 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Very weird. Use 1 shot burst only.

Comments: Heavy weight. Low accuracy at long range and mediocre spray pattern. Good for Mutation Mode only.

MP5 (Sub-Machine Gun) 30/120 ammo repartition


Damage to chest: Around 29
Damage to legs: Around 16
Damage to feet: Around 13

Bullets per second: 12.65
Reload time: 1.9 sec
Switch time: 1.1 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Excellent. Even 5 to 10 burst shots are effective.

Comments: Good for TDM and Ghost Mode. Very fast reload time. IMO, the best Sub-Machine Gun after M12s.

M12s (Sub-Machine Gun) 40/80 ammo repartition


Damage to chest: Around 24-28
Damage to legs: Around 16
Damage to feet: Around 16

Bullets per second: 12.70
Reload time: 2.2 sec
Switch time: 1.25 sec

5 shots burst accuracy: Perfect. Even 5-15 shots burst are great.

Comments: Incredible lethality. Combines accuracy (even while spraying), power and excellent rate of fire. Good in every Modes, except in Mutation Mode maybe. For those who have a lack of skills at aiming ^^

Knife

Damage to chest: Slash: 45
Damage to head: Slash: 90 (The sound is different when you slash head)
Damage to chest: Stab: 90 to 100
Damage to head: Stab: 100

The damage for almost all guns has already been tested by Bloody. If you're looking for the timing, I can't help.

100% true, but at least to tell you if, for exemple, Weapon A has faster
reload time than Weapon B.

i think the M4A1 stats are a bit wrong...takes more than 3 shots for me to kill someone, especially at chest/stomach

Actually this is true, the M4 damage is 29 to the chest, and 35 to the stomach, according to Bloody/Deadeye/Dot.

to help with all of those "which gun" threads
we can make some assumptions according to these numbers (I used the chest damage)

in 3 seconds the m4a1 will have shot 31.2 rounds if every round hits that equals 1092 damage
the ak47 by comparison will have shot 25.92 rounds total damage 1036.8
tar21 32.4 1036.8
sg552 30.3 1121.1

well you get the idea
things to consider, recoil, accuracy, the skill of your target, I think range plays a factor etc etc but play around with the numbers

Most people have 100 hps, most guns will need 3 chest shots to reach this number

m4a1 3x35=105 bullets per second 10.4
ak47 3x40=120 8.65
tar21 3x33=99 (doh!) 10.8


so the m4a1 is almost a full 2 bullets per second faster than the ak, but both require 3 bullets to make a kill, there are still many intangible things, but hopefully this will give you a starting point.

sticky posts help cut down on duplicate topics and there aren't any like this that I know of so it will be posted by different people using different numbers that they have come up with. So "user and neo" may have posted the same thing a while ago and perhaps the numbers have been changed due to an update or tweeking in which case a more current post would be in order if they don't keep theirs updated.

Just read that the M4 Fires 10.4 Bullets a second? 10?! That means you can empty an M4 clip in 3 seconds? I doubt that highly.
