I do hope a gm reads this...

So a friend of mine is without his account for some days now... He alraedy pressed the forgot password link many times and it doesnt do poo. He even logged in my account to try and contact a GM but guess no1 answered.




So... My clan is kinda active in this game and we are a competition team. If the GMs dont fix or do anything about this we might just leave because this is a waste of time and I wouldnt like to demand such a thing since the site it self should work. And I believe he is not the only one with the same problem.

    No one answered ?Have you sent us support tickets ? BTW ,sending us support tickets is the better way to solve your problems .

  • If you already have a ticket there, sending more will only increase the time it takes for you to get a response. Why not send 10-20, then get help only after a week or longer :)

  • I have been sitting around and do nothing about this while the poor guy keeps talking with my account.


    At least 8 members of my clan pay for ZP. I do demand a fast action about this or you may be responsable for this.

    He has been without his account for months, and he already stoped playing because of that. Even if some of you think that this is just a game and it's not worth it to make all this fuzz then you should take a look at his account weapons and the ZP he spended already.


    I am sick of this GM & MOD team. All you can do is ban people... And even in that you fail since I have been told that some players can cheat because they are considered "premium".

    My team has been #1 Esl since we started. We are among the top teams in Europe and we have been considered the best in Europe. So I demand at least a bit of respect of the GM team when one of the Leaders in my clan comes to this forum asking for help when he claims that the tickets don't do nothing about he losing his account by YOUR fault.

    Yes the blame on this is because your system in this website/game. But I do understand that but i don't accept the fact that we haven't had a GM answer since this topic was made.

    Not only for my members, but for all the people that needs help in the game and I don't see nothing in order to help them. The GM team only answers if they see something interesting.

    I'll come in 24 hours to this topic again. If I don't see any changings or explanations, this game will lose a big number of players & clients since we play this for competition and not just for fun.

  • GM's should be more focus on this kind of problems, on EU servers, fixing bugs and cheaters. but all i can see is you releasing patches with stupid hats and useless things on it.

    Improve Beta clan server, add some kinda of options on it. like a team captain that can discard rounds if both team captains agree when some1 crashes, so that gives time to join back. add a setup round for players to warm up. something usefull, something u dont do a for a very long time.

It could be a banning issue, maybe they were caught hacking.

    We also clearly state that we don't respond personally via phone numbers or emails. The OP included their friends email (which is also a security risk so the email was removed). We respond to tickets via the support page. So go there and look. Unfortunately, it is not our fault if we reply to a ticket and the user doesn't check. We will work to make that as clear as possible everywhere, but we've also (as stated) made an announcement on the forums on how to check.

    In this particular instance, the actual person should be the one contacting us, not the friend.


    As for bRnt91's comment about EU servers. We've never announced an EU server, we've only announced that a UK server will be coming in October. Since it is the 15th of October, and we still have 16 days to work with in this month I'd say we're still on target for a UK server in October.

    Setup rounds for a game is likely not going to be implemented. It creates too much change in the game system and networking code for it to be a priority. Especially when we have priorities like hack reduction and clan server improvements which we would like to implement first before we make drastic changes like that. And we're sorry you don't like the Halloween event with hats and other fun items.

    I just tested it and it works fine.

    If he doesn't remember his password then he has to contact support. As previously stated.

    He'll need to know his security question answer, or details about his account in order to get it back.

    Try getting an anticheating that does work since after 2 hours of the new patch there were already people hacking in pubs.

    The login problems are of your responsability. If you accept to be responsable for a game you should try to fix one of the main problems on it. If a person can't recover his account he will probably just stop playing and quit the game. And I bet that my clan mate wasn't the only one.

    We don't want a ticket answer... We want our problem resolved. The Forgot Password system has a bug on it. Your you fix it or you try and recover his account back. The fact that he gave you his email just proves that the account belongs to him.

    Try and DO something. Don't just justify your mistakes.

    The objective of setup rounds it's because of when a person gets disconnected in a match or anything he can't join back. So we just wait 20 rounds and play with less 1 player or a against a team with less 1 player.

    Your priorities about Hack Reduction aren't working dude. Even public forums have hacks for the game so you should try harder.


    I do like the Halloween event. I just dont understand why does a GM team with a FPS game that is changing the market wouldn't want to improve it and just make an excuse saying "Oh that would change the game.".


    I'm sorry for any inconvenient or the fact that I was a bit aggressive. I'm just sick & tired of waiting for an answer or anything useful. And I aint only talking about my Member's problem. I have already seen so many topics in this forum that don't get any answer.

    Like 80% people in every game he may not remember his Security Question answer. But he does have his account details. And he may even tell you his old password to confirm it.

    I do think it was a problem connected to the fact you guys changed from Suba to Z8. And since he once used the "change name" ability it probably just got an error or something.


    In my opinion maybe you should try and see if there's any code problems with the Forgot Pass system or just and try to help the person.

    I don't have his info in here, but since he already gave you his msn contact you could try and check what's his account.

    No, it's not a 6 month delay. quite the opposite in fact. 6 months is how long I've been on the forums receiving pm's.

    It's not announced, and has been suggested plenty of times. And doesn't need to be suggested again. The Uk server is currently the only EU based server we are putting in. And I don't appreciate your comments about the UK being in Europe. If the difference, as you pointed out, is non existent then the answer to the question "are you working on a EU server?" is yes, we are working on an EU server to be located in the UK.

    The ticket system is working just fine. I'd take this up further but since it might involve account details it would have to be taken up in PM. Posting account details here (ie your friends email) is a security risk.

    While the lost password form isn't working right now it is not very difficult to contact us. You can make a new account and contact us there as a very last guaranteed to work solution.

    Because I'm not the one looking at the ticket, or answering it; no it's not my responsibility at this time to know exactly what his/her problem is. I know of many problems that could prevent users from loggin in, or losing their passwords or many various other issues. But support is the best way to get those. Even Delaco said at the very least contact me by PM. And beyond a "Please view this thread" you haven't sent me any information I can work with. Do you expect me to solve this issue on these public forums? I could list his password here if you'd like. Then everyone could log on to his account.
    We don't want a ticket answer... We want our problem resolved.
    The ticket answer SHOULD be the resolution to your problem.

    If a ticket was sent in with the account information, the answer to the security question and/or any other details about the account. The password would have been reset and sent back in a reply. The only reason this ISN'T happening right now is probably because not enough information was given. Considering I can see the tickets here and there isn't ONE ticket from that old in the system, chances are it's been replied to. And if the reply hasn't been read then that's not necessarily our problem. But any further investigation on the issue has to be taken up privately.

    Since you quoted blizzard in a post earlier, you don't see Blizzard representatives discussing account information on their public forums. They ask that users contact them directly. Contacting us directly does not involve posting publicly on these forums.

    We are the publishers. The developers are Smilegate. What you propose is a major change in the functions of the game. Good or bad suggestions, something like that can never be implemented over night. And we have bigger fish to fry right now.

  • For privacy purposes we cannot give account information to anyone but the owner. Please have your friend contact us by using one of his alternative account. Please tell him/her to provide their account information (register email and security question/answer) to verify him/her as the owner so that we can provide him/her with the assistance they need.
  • Just as a last quick follow up.

    I've now tested both password change and password recovery functions and they work fine. You can change your password via the 'My Account' button link at the top of the page if you are logged in and already know your current pw. Use the Forgot ID/PW link at the top if you are not logged in and forgot your pw.

    Have your friend try it again and contact support further if there is problems as Giada mentioned.
