OK, awm is 1 shot everywhere besides leg
DSR is ^ except in super long range does bout 98 - stays in scope, longer pull out, longer reload, weighs more
out of those 2, awm is better
m700 is 2 shot everywhere, except head ( duh ), and it HAS been 1 shot at a certain part, altho its very rare
psg, 2 shot everywhere except head, fast RoF - stays in scope, heavy, longer pull out, long reload
out of those 2, m700 is better
out of awm and m700, it depends on ure style

you forgot to mention that the PSG-RD is never 1 shot kill, not even in the stomach, unlike the reg PSG -1 which can be 1 hit kill with a stomach shot.
also the DSR has a whack draw time, you cant quickswitch it. AWM is by far better.
i never said the psg was one shot kill... :P -
If you're a beginner or even AVERAGE sniper as you say you are, then you shouldn't be writing a guide.
If it is just based a stat comparison, that's what http://crossfire.z8games.com/guide_weapons.aspx is for. People can draw their own conclusions from that.

So as dragunov user (a really good one), i have to disagree in few things:
Too slow? Slow how? You can move fast and light, dont believe the stats, imho in-game it feels even lighter than psg
You cant stay zoomed in? Why not? Of course you can, as well as with other snipers..
And to guys who dont like it for its 2 shot kill, its not only two shot kill, with a bit of practice, most kills will be 1 shot
F.e. yesterday, 3 snd games, 80 kills, only 5 of them 97-99 (and two shots went to guy with armor - 2 shots needed:-/) Anyway really not 2 shots to kill if you are practiced with it enough..
And to the ones who think that possibility of 99dmg shot is not worth it, it really fires quicker than awm, so if you can stomach aim, its a nice and handy advantage -
It's an easy gun to use but it's stupid when you have the awm why on earth would you pick a gun requiring precise aiming when you could pick one which you can kill with a broader target. Why for mobility? Well in most scrims your covering choke points not running and gunning looking for montage clips. The awm makes so much more sense to use even if the M700 is easy to use.
Si, to an extent. But I'm a fidgety sniper, I never stand still in one place, often strafing around, so a lighter gun makes more sense for alot of non-SnD/GM maps. -
What's the use if the guide doesn't compare the usage of the guns? The M700 requires a different playstyle. Guns like the MSG & Drag don't have its manoeuvrability yet often take the same amount of bullets to kill.the m700 is worst WHEN IT COMES TO *****STATS***** COMPARED TO OTHER GUNS.
You don't. There was simply latency involved.ive killed people at 100 hp in the lower legs before and the hands. ive also seen many people do this.

Bad gun review.
1. AWM is practically the best sniper rifle, the DSR-1 is also in contending for #1
2. PSG-1 is NOT the best sniper rifle. You can spam anyone literally.
3. The SVD Dragunov is not that bad. It usually does 97-100 on the body.
4. M700. Most of the people in this game thinks this gun is trash. SOme people end up breaking this gun for GP. ( Makes me mad ) This gun allows you to move fast to maneuver around so you can mess with another sniper. This gun takes extreme precision to get the bullet to hit one's head.
Don't go around making a guide when you only based it on YOUR OPINION only. You've probably only played this game for like 3 months.

well here's my list on what sniper is better bla bla bla
1. awm camo
2. awm red ( and other possible new versions that don't have the improved swap speed of the camo.)
3. reg awm
4. dsr
5. msg ( i might be hated for that.
but i putted it here due to the fact that for those who stay scoped, it can be also considered a m700 on crack. for those who rather quickscope though, m700 take the spot.)
6. m700
7. dragun ( although it can be a one shot kill, its unreliable.)
8. psg reg
9. psg red ( it lose its one shot killing power. making it a slower version of the msg.) -
If you like the PSG so much you'd probably love the MSG.
Anywho, I prefer the awm when playing to win, but the psg and m700 are more fun.
Not only that but the m700 makes you a better sniper, and in general more fun to use.
I find when using the psg any good awm user can take me out. Also, with a 2 hit kill, it gives an assault rifle time to shoot me, messing up my shot, and stopping me from moving.
With the m700, I jump out from cover twice, but with the PSG I'm much more likely to stay scoped in and not move.
That, however, is just me. -

Wrong game. It's the Dragunov 'round these parts.
Anyway, here's how my sniper breakdown goes (I'm not a very good sniper, so don't rage your pants):
M700: Bullshit. Don't even bother.
Dragunov: The most inaccurate sniper. Don't even bother.
PSG-1: Probably the second-most inaccurate sniper, but I like it because you don't need to Q-Q with it, and it's got a nice firing rate.
DSR-1: Underrated. Like the OP said, it's more powerful than the AWM. One of my favorites.
AWM: Can't be beat, of course.
MSG90: No experience with it, but it's got an impressive firing rate. -

Distorted information in this guide.
1. PSG reload time ISN'T mediocre.
2. PSG and PSG-RD aren't necessarily the best sniper rifles.
3. Who care about AWM recoil?
4. Who care about AWM and DSR-1 loudness?
5. AWM and DSR-1 DOESN'T one shot kill everywhere.
I could continue but I'll stop right here, you get the point; this guide is not good. -
You need to look in to this more. Awm is not 1 hit kill anywhere in the body it hits 79-81 in the foot. I would ratjher use m700 then draganoth becuase m700 is 2 shot kill and so is deaganoth i have never hit more than 99 with it -_-'. Also alot of people would agry with me that the awm is the best sniper on the game yes it may have slow reload and yes it may have high recoil. but it is still 1 shot kill to the chest head and neck area, unlike the C*** PSG. Thats Just my opinom.trying to get a good sniper rifle? here are the pros and cons of all of them:
CLASS 1 (best snipers)
1.PSG1 and PSG1(red dragon)
this sniper is the best sniper in my opinion, because it fires the fastest and is semi auto, its also better than the SVD dragunov slightly, because you can stay zoomed in.
the red dragon upgrade allows it to have 5 extra rounds and a cool dragon skin
the bad side of the PSG1 is that its very hard to get (normal psg only in black market crates, psg RD for 70 coupons) also its not always one shot kill, unlike the AWM. it also only zooms in once.
PROS:
fast firing rate
semi automatic
stays zoomed in
slightly better than average damage
CONS:
mediocre reload time
very hard to get
mostly not one shot kill
zooms in only once
2.AWM and AWM (red dragon) (camo)
this is the second most common sniper in the game (m700 is the most common) its one shot kill ANYWHERE IN THE BODY so you dont have to worry about getting a headshot. the RD version has 5 extra rounds and a cool skin.both versions zoom in twice so you can get extra long range kills.
the bad things about the AWM is that its very slow walking with it, it also has very high recoil and fires slowly.
PROS:
one shot kill ANYWHERE ON BODY
relatively fast reload
RD and camo have 5 extra bullets per magazine
2 zooms
extremly common in game
CONS:
slow firing rate
slow movement
high recoil
very loud
CLASS 2 (average snipers)
1.DSR-1
this gun is almost the same as a AWM except it fires faster and is very slightly stronger.
the thing that makes this a stats killer is this: it costs 68000 gp.
SERIOUSLY, if its that expensive, whats the point of this if the AWM is only 56000 gp and almost the same?
three other huge killers:
ITS AS LOUD AS HEL*!
its reload stinks like crap
and it only has one zoom.
so this guns stats are very slightly better than the AWMs, but its cons make it a poor choice
PROS:
one shot kill ANYWHERE ON THE BODY
fires relatively fast
CONS:
very slow snail reload
most expensive weapon in the game
very loud
slow movement
2.DRAGUNOV
this gun is best for if you want something similar to the psg1
its power is better than the psg1s and the m700s, and its semi auto system allows you to shoot fast, it also reloads relatively fast and zooms twice
the bad part is that is very heavy, does not allow you to stay zoomed in, and for just 1000 more gp you can get the better awm.
PROS:
fires fast
reloads relatively fast
strong
CONS:
very slow
does not allow you to stay zoomed in
for just 1000 more gp you can get the better awm.
CLASS 3 (worst snipers)
1. M700
okay, this gun is good for normal sniper matches and is the fastest firing bolt action sniper.
it also has 2 zooms. you also move fast with this one (i think)
the bad part is that its the weakest sniper rifle, and can be outmatched by all other snipers
PROS:
fast firing rate
fast reload
FREE sinper already in your storage (um, if you didnt know this, YOU FAIL)
two zooms
CONS:
weak
outmatched by other snipers
SUMMARY:
over all snipers, get the psg1 red dragon or the AWM red dragon/camo
use the m700 if you want to either for fun, or if you know you're a pro and sniping
