They can find what ISP you use, and therefore what country you are from. Unless they contact your ISP or police in your country, they won't find out where you live.

If I were a GM, I would strip Giggletron from his powers for making such a threat without thinking twice. I've had people making threats to me over the internet, including a very very rich businessmen from Kazakhstan who said that he was going to send the Russian mafia after me. The truth is, nothing ever happened. Just don't worry about it.

Meh, as someone's probably already said, your IP can only reveal your ISP, and general area, though that's not always true, as for some reason, my IP comes from Columbia.
