$1000..? Actually, it was supposed to be $99.99-$199.99 at release. Tons cheaper than iPad.

I have an Asus netbook, great little thing. Be careful though, something happened to mine and I had it about a week or two (didn't even use the internets) and my sys32 was corrupt. Had to create a usb with a version of Windows, boot from that and wait an hour for it to install and then reinstall all the drivers. Works even better now, lolol. So... get an external CD drive or make sure you have a 4GB usb handy at all times!
