well first of all dont hold the trigger just click fast that reduces the recoil and honestly if your holding down you VERY VERY VERY inaccurate so just aim for head rush and click

I know its best to walk while using it and aim down and burst,the gun has major recoil and it will fly up fast,aim low,walk,5 shot bursts at the max,main thing is the aiming low because of the recoil

you should always fire in 3 bullet bursts and switch weapon fast to cancle recoil(when you switch the recoil gets reset)
only go in full auto if you are very confident about your skill to control the recoil, although AK 47 have a huge, but fairly perdictable recoil.

listen what u have to do is spray mostly and long range , if ur short range then click the left click till u get him if he moves click only like 3 bullets

Mid-CVlose range u can spray (or at least i can) i can hold down unleash a full clip and get multi kill easy at mid-close range, mid u could burst long single shot!

Phreaking

From my experience on alaska and crossroads:

Long range- single shot for headshots(take your time. If you keep practising you will become quicker and quicker)

Mid range- 2 shot/burst fire

Close range- spray/3 to 4 shot bursts

Hope that helped.

-2 quick shots from the chest(not moving target), shoulder(moving target), or directly the head should settle the issue but on my part, the ping(300+) totally just messes up my skills in AK so i usually aim at the shoulder hoping that i can kill.

-Also, if u are an AK user. NEVER be the bait in clash coz' you'll definitely be pawned by a low-recoiled or close-range weapon.

-Practice your sidestep moves.

Combine the latter tips for an effective performance with the AK.
