Slow Internet...

Hey guys,

I recently bought a new computer and I'm feeling like it's even slower than my old one.

My ancient computer : HP, Intel VV, 2 Gb RAM, 200 Gb, XP

My new computer : Acer, Intel i5, 6 Gb RAM, 1,5 Tb, W7

Any idea what's the problem?

Internet Speed : 100 Mbps

all internet speeds, on the dashboard will say 100mb/s ... but ur probably not gettin that unless u have optic fiber and paying a SH** ton for internet....

mine even says 100mb/s but in reality its 1 mb/s .. but with 1mb/s, u'd only see anywhere between 128-200kb/s download and/or stream..... to play an online game without havin any lag (ping lag) it must be 128kb/s or more.. which requires 1mb/s internet speed....

OT:

if you never had a problem before... then its probably ur network driver.... if thats updated then its probably the router and/or modem... call ur ISP and see whats goin on

My download speed seems to be as slow as before. Except, my old computer wasn't as powerful and had viruses on it.

(I have to put videos on 240p in order to not have to wait for them to load all the time when I'm on Youtube, FML)

EDIT : Internet speed : around 50kb/s but it's supposed to be like 100kb/s.
