Nah it wasn't lost. The others had some other shots and obvious some crazy skill that went in to it!

Some notes.

The collage above is not all the entries.

If people want to know exactly, we got somewhere between 600-800 entries. And less than 50 of them conformed to the simple rules we set out.

We also checked all images against google to make sure they weren't ripped from elsewhere.

We also got a lot of images that weren't even pumpkins. Also note that entries of pumpkins on sites that wouldn't load for us, or that we couldn't navigate properly or understand we couldn't use.

The email was used so that you could submit a physical photo to us. Not upload the picture to a non-english image hosting site that wouldn't work for us properly.

The college represents the better selections of the pumpkins that we could access, view and judge. We apologize if you think that yours were "better". Remember, not all pumpkins in that collage won something. Just the 3 grand prize finalists (previously chosen) and a selection of 5 other pumpkins judged by us from the images we received.

I can't believe that one to the right of the bottom left corner one is considered better than mine when I clearly followed the guidelines and spent hours drawing+carving buuut ok. At least the one I knew would win for sure is top 3.
