For the second time in a week, we've been hacked and lost all our members
Please re-apply if you were one of those kicked
Or if you meet the criteria in our application

Also, if it's someone within the cf community doing this:

How sad are you... hacking a clan for kicks, wow you're really a bigshot
I'm sure all your friends are really impressed, you know friends... those voices in your head
Because I'm sure no-one would befriend a person of your pathetic nature

Just to mention it also:

What your doing is a prisonable offence - hacking an encrypted database
So is hacking ingame - cham, walls, speedhacks, gun hacks etc.

Because it's altering pre-programmed data without prior consent of the developer
So you might wanna look into the legitimacy of what you're doing next time moron

(Just to add, yes I'm not using my normal account, I'd rather not right now)

We are not the only clan so there is someone who found a way to remove members from clans.

This also happened to sgt.lxcs clan which the leader from this clan told me it happened yesterday.

I think z8 should be seriously looking into this and checking their server logs for requests which removed a large number of members from a clan. Then they should give me the IP so that I can use it to track down the person and show them my BAT. It's a nice bat.

If the leader and all LT's changed pass and u still got hacked again i would say all scan ur pc's, possibly 1 of u has a keylogger (im assuming its not the leaders account tho otherwise all LT's woulda been kicked also).

it could have been a normal lieu just kicking every1, or a keylogger in one of them like dealer said

Given the fact that it has happened to about 4 clans in the tourney and a few random ones, we are pretty sure that someone else is behind it. We have known our LTS for a long time and have a good amount of trust in them, that they wouldn't try to do something like this. However, if there are any programs that anyone on here would recommend for checking your computers for anything like spyware/key loggers/ etc it would be appreciated.

I would check keyloggers. We recently had a clannie that had a keylogger on his computer and I had to TV him and remove it for him. Most likely that is your explanation.

lol how do you get hacked not once but twice...change all your passwords and don't make anyone a LT until things settle and you can trust them

well i've recommended that all our lts run malwarebytes
although i don't think its a keylogger
a member of our clan pointed out z8 only use 32-bit encryption

given the amount of money people spend on this game, its unacceptable
there needs to be a high level of security
and some kind of kick-tracking in place
(which i'm told is possibly a work in progress)

use a password like this *************** (pants off will not work ) its called a AES 128 crypt, hacker need 10 years with one cpu to h.a.x but be sure u dont have a keylogger or stuff like that on your pc.....if u do that, and ya acc would be hacked again is that a Z8 problem...maybe lousy security nt on twofish attacks......

you wont get hacked if you have a super dewper password. Change your passwords to something with capitals, numbers and even *,-,( etc because having those in the password makes it harder to get hacked. Having a little password is not protecting you from much. Sorry to hear though you guys got hacked again.

Please have a representative from this clan contact me ASAP.

And please have any Lieutenants and leaders change their passwords as well as their account emails.

It is possible that an account was compromised and the passwords need to be reset.


Please be aware for the future that account security is the players problem. There are only 2 outcomes for this type of problem.
1) A system data loss on our side
2) A leader kicked all members from the clan

If #2 is correct and this was unintended by the account owner then that means the password was likely compromised and should be changed. Please do not use malicious programs, pirate software or hacking tools as well be aware of websites you click on as these programs and sites may phish for your password.

Account responsibility is that of the players. There are plenty of measures in place such that a password should be secure.
