I play because its easy. If I go play CS right now I'd get my butt violated by anyone who is any good, on cf its pretty hard to do badly... Not to mention I like how the game play is a bit slower than the other games I've played.

For me it's the player movement. I can easily say that this game has the best player movements for any CS style game. Playing Source or 1.6, the players seem incredibly heavy, and unwieldy, where as these guys seem light, very easy to move about, but not floaty.

Basically the diversity of the game. I hate CS for the lack of the standart respawn like DeathMatch and TeamDeathMatch. We also have Ghost Mode, Nano Mode and stuff. The weapon and rank system is brilliant. It's not one more WWII game.

At some point I figured out that in order to make up for the the money I spent on it,
I would have to keep playing it for the rest of my life.

(Joke, or at least not the whole truth. Actually, I play it because my girlfriend has the password and I have to check she didn't buy Valentines Day crap).

I was never that big on CS or CS:S and mainly onlyplayed it when I was at LANs or friends were playing it.

But as for CF..
I like how the movement is. People move at a nice pace, also little jumping penalty.
I like how the guns shoot, most of all I like that you can move and still shoot off a perfectly accurate shot, with just about any gun.
I like the persistence of rank, even if all of the top people now farm. I was at one point in the 50s with out farming or XP+ items.
I enjoy being a mod and helping people out with the game when I can.

I enjoyed it for the stress release of blowing away someone with no consequences other than the inevitable QQ fest that has permeated this game.
Now I just get more annoyed when they whine, so that's that.
