ScarL is NOT a pro weapon...all you have to do is look at all these noobs running around with it just full spray killing with it. Soooooooooooooooooooooo much skill involved with that one. You can't full spray kill anyone with a AK-47 or K-2 or SGS1 or practically ANY damn weapon...people have sprayed at a wall to see how the spread was and it was next to near NOTHING. -

I really hate crying noobs that get owned all the time and try to make excuses for it. Doesn't matter what gun you use, If you are a noob you will do no good. I use kriss and thompson all the time in td and usually end up as ace and mvp. Then at the end some people cry because they say im using a noob gun or an easy gun to use. If I was not good at the game I would get owned no matter what. I see people all the time using kriss and thompson and have more deaths than kills, that is a noob. And by the sound of it you are a NOOB too lol. -

Well I still oppose the idea of SL's nerfing till Thommy and Kriss won't be nerfed. Plus, noobs tend not know how to aim so it won't be a problem to take them down if you know how to. And good players.. Heh, whatever gun they have, if they're better, they'll shoot you down anyways. And well, maybe you're never on Delta, but dude, I'm pi$$ed at those no aim guns.

There's alot of misinformation and biased in this thread.
The Skill Lite is a top teir weapon, noone is going to debate that. It has decent power,
great accuracy, controllable recoil, great reload time (best of all rifles from what I've
observed) and very light weight. This makes it easy for anyone to pickup and use at
pretty much any range without having to learn the tricks presented by other rifles
such as the AK.
In the pub and non-competitive scrim world, the skill lite is overpowered because people
cannot see the obviouse flaws that makes it a less then desirable weapon in competitive
play compared to weapons that can perform the same tasks in skilled hands. The gun
has a terrible spray pattern that makes full autoing it inaccurate at close range "desperate"
situations, though the more glarring weakness is how loud it is. You can hear the distinctive
**** of the firearm close to half a map away in port, and the gun fire sound can be picked
up just slightly closer. In competitive play, if you switch from your knife to a scar lite,
THEY WILL HEAR YOU alot clearer then your teammate with an m4a1, ak or awm.
That said, to those that say you can't spray with an AK... spraying with the AK requires
knowledge of its spray pattern. The gun debatably has the best spray pattern of any
rifle, and is very easy to spray with close range once you get the feel of it.
In conclusion, I do own a Skill Lite, I've used it since its release as a main firearm, and the past few months, been dedicating myself to an AK. Take it from someone whom has used the skill lite for a significant period of time, its a great top teir weapon, but it is not as overpowered as people bring it out to be simply because its an easy to use weapon. Mind you the question pops up, should it be nerfed, and to be honest I think it should just to even out the distribution of weapons in pubs to make it a more dynamic and entertaining game away from the static nature of seeing 70% skill lites in a room.
IMHO "M4a1 Cust > M4a1 + varients > AK + varients > Skill lite" when it comes to the performance of top teir weapons. -

Im getting really annoyed by these scar hating threads. I do alright with it, but I don't turn all pro and get ace whenever I pick it up.
IMO, the scar has a horrible spray pattern, and, I spray better with the ak at mid range. I'll admit the scar is beast at bursting and getting random hs across the map, but it sounds like you're just QQing after getting owned by sergeants with scars.
If you are jsut annoyed by ppl calling themselves "pro" with the scar, go snipe them with your uzi, so they won't have a reason to brag.
And, no before you ask, I do not have a scar light. I got one from the BM a couple weeks ago and did no better with it than with the ak I got some days before that.
