camping should only be use in ghost mode, when your a ghost, or in pro strats. The only time I like campers is when I'm paranoid, spray around a corner, and kill them. And when the say hacusations i just say "i heard you breathing" XD

Camping in ghost mode is fine. I'm pretty sure your suppose to camp.

Camping in Egypt and w/e other map is still fine. Your just another easy kill for me. You kill me, I come back and kill you. ^_^

Camping involves a lot of skills. A good spot can't be too obvious, and also can't be somewhere people never go. Also, it's ideal if theres a escape route once u r spotted. So i would say camp is a pretty fun strategy to practice.

camping in tdm makes no sense to me, seance the only reason to camp is to defend... what is their to defend in TDM?,,,, but still its not WRONG, just nonsenceicle. in s and d and ghost, i recomend it.

The only thing wrong with camping is the people Raging at "campers".

Ducking behind cover for a moment or 2 to reload, check the map, listen for sounds etc is all good. Its part of the game.

You duck for cover for a minute, regain your awareness, kill a guy going by and all of a sudden you are a "noob camper" lol.

Camping is allright if the enemy is dumb enough to let you live. keep camping. The QQ'ers will have to learn some tactical awareness is all.

i think it depends on the "type" of camping. for excample if you hear someone coming and hide behind a box so you can jump out at them, then i think thats legit. Or if you are covering a base as gr or something. but if you stay behind something for the whole round waiting for people to pass by then it gets a little "nooby". this can get predictable anyway so will eventually be no problem.

I hate when people camp in nooby spots like behind the door in Alaska... I am too convinced that any good player wont camp there, but sometimes I find a rookie camping there with AK-47... So yeah, it can be strategic and a good way to win (if done right), but very frustarating too!

So: camping is not wrong.

This isn't COD.

The only reason "camping" is shamed upon so much in the COD series is because it's so friggen easy to play you have to be superterribadscar-l not to do half decent just running around.

And because COD is a huge series, alot of people who play F2P fps also play COD, so the camping situation follows through to the F2P games.

So if I stand on the first Blocks of Egypt outside the spawn area and kill 20 people from there as they advance and only move up to collect a weapon...would you consider this camping...even tho Im wide out in the open?

Ive run 115-17 on Egypt with little effert on my part...but of course I get called a hack for sitting back and HSing people over and over.

Camping is smart, not stupid and kiddy. If I hear you coming, im getting behind something and waiting. Its called an ambush for a reason. If you dont camp at somepoints in the game your going to die fast. If your a rusher, your a rusher.

I move forword, move back, I hide, I sneak, camp and rush. Learn to move and camp, key points most dont understand.

Core... I saw you somewhere before... Anyways, what you just said is wise. Only that I aslo remember someone like this, who got like 60 - 5 in that one match, and 9 - 40 in a 1 vs 1 with me... Camping is a "not fighting" strategy. Basically just assasinating the ennemy without letting him actually fight you. It's not like it wasn't legit, but I consider this kinda pathetic... And as said before, hunt down all the campers in the match. If someone camps on my team, I periodically smoke grenade/flash/frag him. Well, at least that's one case I can use my nades in.

Camping's fine. Like everything it has its time and place, and someone who sits in one corner all game isn't fun to play against, but there's nothing wrong with it. If a camper kills you one round, he used a good strategy. If he kills you again, you should have known to flash him or check his corner better.
