Mouse Issues?
Does anyone have a problem with their mouse movement?
I can't move my crosshair in a perfectly straight line. Instead of being like ---- it ends up moving like ~~~~. Its gotten to the point where I can't stand to play anything other than MM because I can't even aim correctly.
I've heard that some other people have this issue, so maybe we can figure out what we all have in common. I use a razer lachesis on vista 64bit.

Turn off windows mouse acceleration. Also, lowering your dpi might help. -

Bugs (and solutions):
The biggest problems with the Lachesis are mouse pointer bugs. Many users report that the mouse pointer will jump around erratically, even when it is not being held. This is something we needed to get to the bottom of, and we did. There appear to be a few things going on here. First, the mouse is so sensitive that the tiny vibrations on your computer desk, usually from a vibrating computer (the fans in the computer) cause the mouse to skip around. Second, your sub-woofer may rock your pointer. Third, the Lachesis collects dust better than most mice. (Guaranteed! Cue the cheesy Swiffer music.) Good for a dust pad, not good for a mouse. There are a few things you can do, though, to alleviate the skipping problem. First, it it not recommended that you use a soft mouse pad with this mouse, or any other high DPI mouse. Soft pads and cloth pads are usually a bad idea when it comes to high-DPI laser mice, so get a laser-compatible muse pad. This solves most user's problems. Second, minimize external vibrations. Third, update the mouse firmware and drivers. The mouse comes with simple instructions for doing so in the manual. Fourth, you can always turn down the sensitivity. Change the windows/game sensitivity instead. Let's be honest: unless you have a monitor larger than 30 inches, you have to turn your windows/game sensitivity down a good amount to even use 4000 DPI. -
