Does CF Works With Linux?

Hey guys I want to buy me a New Pc with Linux
now my Question:

Does Cf works on Linux

and when it works
Will i have Problems or any other things?

I was able to download and run Crossfire on Windows 7 32 bit with no problems at all. Due to the anticheat measures in the game you should temporarily disable virus scanning while installing the game.

As far as linux is concerned, this is and always will be a Windows based game. I can't see linux support coming at any point in the future.
