for spray I would say xm8 is better and for midrange it's better. For long range I would say their both good, and with alot of practice I think the aug would win in that category. The scope on the aug is very useful in my opinion for single shots, and the scope on the xm8 takes a lil practice. I would say go for the xm8.

both are cool, balanced, fun weapons to use. xm8 gets the win mainly because of the reload.

small maps for spraying
zp = kriss
gp = thommy

zombie mode
zp = m60-adv
gp = rpk

rifle
zp = ak scoped/m4-c
gp = ak47/scarL

snipers
zp = awm camo
gp = awm
ghost mode

machine gun = m60-adv
shotgun = xm1

melee weapon
zp = shovel for ghost mode / axe for afk farming

Aug is a lot more accurate than XM8!

I would go with the Aug, but its ur choice!

IF you enjoy making noobs qq by headshotting them.......ALOT, with an accurate gun thats NOT a sniper go for the aug

IF you love youre a power freak, and want a red dot scope cuz it would look so fly on ur weapons in mw2, xm8 was made for you

i prefer aug since i like using its scope for headshots
its scope is way easier

i've tried xm8-adv the other day
3burst is a headshot machine if u aim belly =P
