So how would you feel about a katana

How would you feel about a katana sword being released into CrossFire
because CF Japan has the Katana as a melee weapon and its has a longer range then a shovel and it is practically a 1 hit kill in most cases

Do you think it would be released?
Do you want it to be released?
Should it be GP or ZP?(It's GP in Japan CF)

...this is a touchy subject for me. I have poured over 40 bucks into maintaining my shovel (hate all you want) and i would absolutly despise it if a GP melee weapon came out. Unless it either sucked or costs over 100000 gp or is an expensive rental...like the xmas m4.

I definitely want some kind of GP melee weapon, but katana would be like the ultimate weapon. Knife users wouldn't stand a chance XD

Should it be GP or ZP? - 'IF' its released it would definitely be in ZP.

Japan and China get all the awesome stuff cause they are near Korea the country that made CF so they get the awesome golden weapons and the characters and stuff.. $:\$

We will also get all that stuff eventually. The reason is that CF NA has been released a while after CF got released in korea, Japan and China.

And you guys better be careful what you ask for as far as the other Cf version go... they have a *LOT* of ridiculous chars/weps that would make this game.... hmmmm... dumber.

The thing is, there most things are gp, even the shovel/axe. Where in China most things are CP (Like our ZP)

Yea. First katanas, then throwing knives, followed by gunblades.

When we get Katana, GM will be ZP only. Armor+Katana+Lag switch+more ZP stuff = overranged 1hit bunnyhopping invincible ghosts? No thx.

Lag switch?
they can't make that for computers.....only for the game consoles for example like xbox 360

I don't believe in coincidence, if some people have a constant 50ish ping, which coincidentally spikes to 200+ right when I'm shooting them, and which coincidentally goes back to 50 when they're done killing me. And it's not strange at all, if that happens 20 times in a match.
Which is harder to hit, a normal "lagging" soldier, or someone who's lagging around? (You see the blood, but shots won't get registered)

sense the dawn of FPS tactical games, (and fps in general) there has NEVER been a need for more then one hand to hand weapon. EVER EVER EVER.

the knife is meant ether as a last resort, or to pwn some unexpecting noob with their back to you. the fact that there are options in this game blows my mind. (and yes i have a axe and it is garbage, too short range)

Yeah but, we have GM.
It's probably the only/biggest reason people actually buy the Field Shovel.
I get the Combat Axe in crates so I use it.

The katana probably will come out cause its in japan,china,and Korea CF and so would the gatling gun which would be a minigun because its already released in japan

Here's an idea: Have the katana as GP permanent, but have it replace your secondary. Can't use it in GM (obviously, lul) or knife only matches, but still available to the puplic and fun to use. Would be ... interesting in zombie mode, being able to chop of mutants' heads. Maybe 25k GP?

Yeah its about 2kgp to borrow for 7 days in Japan CF and yeah pretty much a 1 hit kill

So how would you feel about a katana
