Sniping in NM

What do you guys think about it? Is it selfish to do it since you don't really help your team as much as you would with an automatic weapon? Also, has anyone tried using the PSG-1/Red Dragon in NM? Fast firing rate + accuracy + high power seems like it could crank out some serious damage to zombies.

Haven't tried it yet, if your a really decent sniper you can probably do some damage

It's hardly as effective as an automatic weapon.
Maybe if you can aim for the head every shot, it's not too bad.

AWM headshot is 400 damage. If you can get a position that will not be easily reached my mutants (most likely boost/glitch), you can do the hell of a lot of damage.

PSG is the most amazing gun is NM IMO. Fast rof for a sniper. high power and striking looks xD

=\ its not selfish at all, it pushes them back the most and it does 100-400 damadge per shot which means if u headshot them with awm it will take only 1 clip to kill a zombie

nah its pretty good, lots of damage, stacks up the kills, if your camping solo its prob not too good of an idea tho, and have a deagle or something to help your teammates if they need help keeping mutants away

At most, a sniper can only act in a support role to others.

Don't get me wrong, this is a crucial role, however, very few can actually play it well.
Your main goal isn't to try to get as many kills as possible, but rather to help defend and assist your teammates though...

its really bad in mm its too hard with ping differences its almost pure luck to hit the zombies head with the awm and 100 dmg alone is bad so id wait until we get a heavy sniper like m82 or the rai

it's about as useless as using a sniper in GM. (150 pinger knife sfc's don't count)

i have and use awm camo and psg r/d in MM. it doesn't push them back. your pretty much useless to your team, but who cares. stats don't count and it's fun to see 400 damage pop up with a headshot.

whell. i tryed sniping with my awm adv cristmas but the mutants allways get u... i dont know try a few games and ull se for your self.
