Crates - The odds?

What are the odds of getting the perm weapon in a crate?
Ive bought 10 M4A1 Crate before, got it on my 3rd try.
Ive bought 20 Winchester/Thompson crates, got a winchester and was hoping for a thompson

.
And ive bought 10 m16-Camo Crates, didint get anything.
AND,one of every other, didint get anything good too.

Are the odds all the same if so, what are they.

the odds r pretty low, but the more you buy the high chance u get of getting wat u want. but for me i dont get luck alot

Dude ur lucky
for me:
30 m4 costume crates and nothing
100 or more Thompson crates and nothing
100 xm8-adv crates and got one (wooho!)

It's all about luck, I spent over 600k gp on camo deag crates before I got one.

Not to brag... But

kriss 4th crate
m4-cus 1st crate (baught 10k zp used 8k on kriss and 2k on m4 got both)
ak-scope 12th crate
xm8- 19th crate
tommy- 4th crate
deagle-camo 100+ crates nothing. Then I used bp crates and got deagle and anaconda.
All about luck. But try and aim the dial on the first little black slash

I've gotten Nothing from m4a1-c crates after 60 crates.
I got an aug-camo in 2 crates a while ago. I didn't even know what I was doing at the time I won, I was just like "hmm, cool." Then a friend on the phone told me the gun was rare, I was like "ZOMG *** BBQ" ^^

And my trusty ol' Thompson was obtained in 3 tries. ^^

M60 crate, tried 10, lost horribly... got nothing but GP.
And of course, the XM8, tried 60 crates and got nothing. Ahh well.

So yeah, crates are fking random as hell. Nuff said.

Soooo should ppl buy creates or not??? oh and for ppl who want a gp create gun then make a new acc and play in rookie sever (do not buy any gun use m16 and m700) when u r sargent spend ur 75 k (46 starting money+10 lvl money bounus +20 money bounes+1k the money u made from playing gamez) use the money and buy the create u would want to win. most ppl should win with 75k but if u dont win permenent gun... then start this allover again and better lucky next time.

I heard some where that the odds are better than 1/100...
My guess is 1/50? It seems quite high though. =/

50+ ak scope crates nothing
100+ m4 custom crates nothing got it with coupons
150+kriss crates nothing COUPONS
100 anaconda adv crates got 2
over 1500 aug crates dont have it
under 200 crates and i got 2 thomsons and winchester
about 50 xm8 adv crates dont have it
and 3 halloween gp crates got witches hat xD
