Hackers.

The method z8games uses to report hackers on crossfire sucks. Why not have a section on the forums in which members can post links to videos, the suspected players name etc there?

It would be vastly superior than the irritating, annoying, pain staking process of going through the process of finding the file in the CF replays, creating an account on a poor filehosting website (heard of fileplanet? Its better.) and then going through the website with a fine toothed comb looking to find a ticket in which to submit it to you guys, and then not get a response as to whether you've actually looked at said ticket or not.

This may sound like a little bit of a flame topic but i dont think i could express my annoyance in any other way.

I have 4/5 videos of guys that are GARUNTEED hackers saved. I reported one after 10/15 mins of creating accounts on useless websites etc etc. And now tbh i just cant be asked going through the process a further 4 times. Especially considering i dont even know if you have looked at my ticket when it was submitted 2 months ago.

Your suggesting the same method basically
As for mediafire, they are fine as is.

My opinion on the report system: It's fine as is. I only worry about it if I find ranks 2nd LT and above hacking. Thus making it worth something to go through

So, the whole process of creating an account on a small mediahost, uploading, creating a support ticket, submitting said ticket, not getting a response for said ticket.

Is faster than..

Creating a youtube account, uploading the unedited file on there, making a topic with the suspected hackers name in a section of the forums with the link..?

Would make it far, far easier to use a host people are familiar with also. (most of us already have youtube accounts too..)

Would save alot of time and more submittances would be put through to Z8.

And all Z8 have to do is log in on their website, and have a few admins troll the forums.

Both sides of the equation are happy... Happy pandas all around :>

Mediafire is quite trusted by many people including myself. And to be honest.. your alternative towards reporting people is much more complicated.

You do not have to really follow each and every step to report someone..

This is how you do it: Upload replay, Find the players USN code, send a private message.

Not only saidin handles this issue but the moderators as well

I agree Snuggleproof, I got like 15 videos of Simpsons clan hacking. They should really get a lesson taught, plus i dont even know how to report -_- How report someone? Tell me plz LOL

Trusted yes. As popular as youtube or fileplanet?... Nowhere near. Also your method of reporting is not in Z8's criteria, therefore it is not their preferred method of reporting.

And mediafire acts like a middleman in the process of watching the replays. You can watch the replays direct on youtube, cutting out said middle man. Therefore it is not harder than the process which is instated now and would be alot easier.

I have received messages from 2 moderators thanking the way I report people, thus bypassing the preferred method. We all have our opinions on things and I hope you stand by yours! I'm out for now.

YOU have receieved two messages from moderators.. YOU have 1200~ posts. Meaning you have been on this forum alot. And only two responses?

And do you not think that if a few hundred thousand people that use these forums started spamming the mods inbox with crap mail that 50% of the time isnt even a decent hack accusation it would set the mods back even more? Considering that are already 3 weeks behind schedual in responding to current tickets with the current reporting process.

The reason I believe youtube is not supported because you would be changing the cf media file to a movie file thus making it editable. NO GO
