if you cant use m60 or rpk for other modes,it just does not worth it,its LUCK in MM if you wanna KILL a mutant with your wep
/talking about luck,killed so far 3 mutants with my knife XD

Yes the g36k (as most, if not all rifles really) is a good gun. Although dmg per bullet is lower than the AK/M4, it has higher Rate of fire (ROF), which makes up for the lower dmg. Its quite insane close range, like the xm8. Mid range, reasonably good, though ... i reckon at long range its a bit harder to use. but then again, im not a pro g36k user, i'm an AK guy XD (or m4 adv/custom when i feel like being ninja). So yeah, its a gun which aint bad, if you can use it, go for it. And yes, g36k and the AK are awesome for ghost mode xD. Both do massive dmg close range.

The RPK is also not bad in other modes XD, in my S&D matches i tend to have 1.5-2.5 kd with it in matches XD. Though, the m60 is indeed WAY harder to use.
And no ... its not always luck to kill a mutant... i killed 5 in one match... being 15v1 lol... and I won in a simple camping place XD. (zone 13 on the traffic light) You can kill 1 principal mutant with one 80 shots of the rpk (if you have around 25% headshots).
All you need to do is: burst/or do 1 shot with rpk, and hit the head. And... hope that noone has that odd hook wep as a mutant... lol (its a legal hack! XD long knife! XD)
as for knifing... ye its fun XD, ever tried rushing zombies when its 6v1 soldier? XD Was funny, i even won, while just running backwards around the area with my deagle xD. -

So it is luck,it matter to shoot to kill,when the mutant starts to change color to red and then back to green,aim head,and you have your kill,but as most of the players,just try to survive,and(i dont insult them)but there are alot of noobs who dont know how to play this gamemode corectly,so..

@ svanced I use what I call "dodging" it's actually a really risky method wich requires high presiosion in jumping. Just jump all around any boxes. Mutants tend to run faster and jump higher, wich often makes them slide of objects you jump around. I also often happen to jump over mutants, without them hitting me (yes, most fail at mutant close range). My best being 1m30 approx with 7 mutants.

G36K is a polyvalent weapon, yet, it's hard to use at it's full potential. First of all, it can be used as an SMG. Try to spray at close range as you would do with an Mp5 and see what happens. It's REALLY awkward to use as a rifle at long range, but if you know how to combine scope/tapping you will be allright. Now be aware that ammo is rare thing with G36K.
An SMG basically have larger clip/more ammo than a standart rifle (P90: 50/100, MP5: 30/120, Galil: 35/100 e.t.c.) but the G36K is a rifle. Thus, have standart 30/90 Ammo. And YES it's ROF is SUPERRIOR to any rifle AFAIK. Wich also means it will be depleted in a good spree. Example of AK. Basically 5 shots are fairly enough to kill anything (well exept a mutant) for an average player. With the G36K however, if you use it as an SMG you can take 10 bullets/Half a clip or even MORE to kill the target. But BELIVE me you WILL kill it DEAD. In TD/SnD don't expect to keep your G36K for more than 5 kills. It won't happen.
Now G36K have the best scope on assault rifle that I ever seen. IMHO it's better than XM8-Adv's scope. If you use it as you would use an AK, it gives you a whole new horizon of action (scope also means less spread). But don't forget that even with it's moderate/high power (stronger than M4's) it is STILL NOT a sniper rifle. No one shot kills. And don't expect killing a running target from across the map with one burst. Well exept HS.
And the BIGGEST advantage of G36K IMHO. See that wood wall? See that BL dude behind it? Start spraying. It have FULL power at wall piercing. -

@ ZamZun Personally I do better with an AWM than with the G36. A LOT better. On the other hand, I'm spe sniper so it's normal. If you used your M700 more than M16 when you was begining, go for AWM. If not, stick to G36.

Well you also get money for playing the game, don't forget that. I actually hate AWM's, they get boring very fast and really don't offer any sort of satisfaction when killing an enemy the way a headshot with an M700 does. Save you're pennies and by the time you rank up, maybe a little afterwords you'll be able to buy almost any weapon. I would recomend the AK-47, it's great for MM and GM and still works good in other game types, or the Steyr Aug A1, really good for headshotting at long range once you warm up to it. But if you have your heart set on the G36K then get that, it has the close range power of an SMG and also has good accuracy and spray for headshots further away. I have all of these guns and they're all definitely worth it, whatever one you buy. But whatever you do DON'T GET THE SCAR LIGHT! It fails hard, just trust me on this one.
