We are CheckMate, a SnD clan. We have been around since clans started coming out. Our leader is ChessMastr and we have many LTs. We promote good fun and good skill. We are asking one thing of you, read our story and think about becoming a CheckMater. We need good players like you to join our clan, and profit from our strats to our friendships. We are not a super-competitive clan, but we enjoy playing in Tournaments and being competitive to a limit. We will never rage at you and/or insult you without reason. We are mature players that follow the rules and abide by our honour.

Greetings Z8Games and public lurkers!
My name is ChessMastr and I am the leader of this prestigious "clan CheckMate". As some of you know, we have recently got back some of our old players and we have been back, stronger and more powerful than ever! We have travelled many long strides to get where we are today! Currently, we are in the top 27 clans of CrossFire. We expect to be in the top ten in the next Few weeks, months.
We cannot do this alone, so we are reaching out to the public players. We need you to join CheckMate! This is not a “you need us” situation any longer. If you think you are up for the challenge, and we think that you are good enough to uphold our reputation, you will be accepted. (note: not all players will be accepted and there is a minimum rank requirement of Staff Sergeant.)
Currently, we are averaging as a clan about an average of 250 CPs a day! Why not chose a clan with tens of thousands of ZPs lurking about in the Clan Bank? We have a list of players waiting on our complementary 50% EXP UP 30day bonuses that we give out every couple of months. The faster you get in, the more CPs you earn.
I haven’t even told you the best part. I will personally pay for your ZP problems. I pay for 10k ZPs for you every 250 CPs you accumulate! I am very trustworthy and will help you if you need help. Examples of our leaders are: Silvr_Knight, S1xpak*, tactic_m8, HI and Dark*Rook. We have our players active and scrimming every day.
HI, s1xpak, SoZz_____, tactic_m8 are the scrim team leaders and they scrim daily. I know that we have had a few rough patches (ChessFreak and HeadShoot), but we have dealt with them with honour and pride.
We have a domained website, http://www.clancheckmate.ca , and three Ventrilo servers. We have a maximum of 110 players and somewhere, there is space for you, the reader. Currently, we are looking for mature (14 and over is recommended), skilled (over 1.5 K/D, but exceptions may be made), and active players. We will not, I repeat, will not kick you for explained inactivity such as a vacation, home work school , family or work.
We use a cell system, which is like miniclans within a clan. Every LT either runs a cell, or co-commands a cell. Get yourself in a cell, and you will be scrimming at least three times a day. Our reputation for scrimming is phenomenal and our winning percentage is also very high.
We also have interclan tournaments, which consist of FFAs, Tag Team Battles, Trio Battles, 5v5 Interclan Pug Tournament, and the infamous Cell Tournament. We have specific prizes of 10k ZP for each winner to a free other awesome prizes.
