How do you get Mutation Defense?

I noticed it and it seems random but I'm not sure. Most of the time I got it, it was when I just barely missed infecting someone, but I sometimes also got it while hitting another mutant, but when I try to do it on purpose, I can't.

ohhhhhh lol. ok. I mean, i'm not used to shooting sum1 with a bullet-proof vest and it telling me they wear a bullet-proof vest, but I guess this is so you know you could've infected them, and need to do whatever you did again with right click....or that you're about to infect them with the other swipe of left click if the first hit.

I think its armor, it makes it a 2 hit infection instead of 1 =\ i hit a guy like that and had to 2hit to get him i asked and he said armor or something

Yes. It's a Mutant Vest you can buy for ZP in the item shop. 2 hits instead of one. Not worth it to me IMO.
