i have to ask..

am i supposed to be insulted when someone calls me noob?
really?
how threatening is the word noob?
does this really upset other people?

i mean, i know where noob came from.
newb - being new to the game/situation at hand.
but i'm a second lt, and usually get called that after taking out most of the team.
(how can i be new at this with a high rank and ace/mvp?)

i just don't get it.

honestly, when i get called that, i always picture a 300 lb 12 year old kid yelling at the top of his lungs "NOOB!!!" and i usually damned near fall out of my chair laughing.
now i just spam "you just got noobed".

Ussually whoever says noob is either saying noob because u made a horrible mistake..but if ur 2nd lt u probably dont..so mostly because theyre jelaous

most people call u a noob because u have ****ed them off or made a realy stupid mistake/decision for (example) your a ghost u have the bomb then u get killed in a vent or u kill the same guy every round for 6 rounds he gets mad and screams NOOOOB

Don't take it too seriously. If u're a smiley face -> "noob". If you are too pro -> "noob hacker". And ping, fps, mouse, keyboard can make u look stupid. People just get mad sometimes

People get angry when you overkill them. So what do they do？ They try to get even by making their opponents just as angry. Most of the time, these attempts to let their anger out on others lead to yelling **** that don`t make any sense.
