[Solutions] CrossFire (New patch error, Gamewatcher, ect.)

I have tested most likely everything, and they seem to work - These are just suggestions, if they don't work then you don't rant - It wont work for everyone.

Problem: Patch Error - Saying crossfire.exe has been moved.
Solution: Uninstall CrossFire from your PC, and then redownload.

Problem: Game Watcher Not Loading.
Solution: Re-download, or run your game as administrator.

Problem: Game Crashing after being kicked, or after game.
Solution: Keep clicking the screen, until you reach the lobby. You can also ALT + TAB out for it to load-stop and then tab back in, and you wont crash.

Problem: Disconnected due to incorrect player info.
Solution: This usually happens when you glitch maps, so there is no fix there. But most people get it when they are playing, it because your internet lagged out - nothing else.

Problem: "Your ID is already logged in?"
Solution: Close CF, re-login and then close CF again. Then you can just reopen it - because it will sign it off, and then you can play with getting the error.

invalid version !!

i already downloaded the new version of the game but when i install the game and run it says "your client is invalid version" "re-install the latest version of the game"

i already took the game that i download and put it in another laptop and it works, what is the problem ?

hgw game watcher issue

I was having the same trouble after I updated the patch, and i seemed to have fixed it by going into the crossfire folder and using the patcher_cf.exe. Try it out and see if it works for you too.

Usless? Theres like a million people having the same problem with HGW game watcher, how about some freakin fixes already!

FanaticChaos, I have had the first problem for a while, and your solution works for it, but when I turn off my computer and turn it back on it is back to "file has changed". I didnt really mind that because then I just took 10 minutes to redownload it every time that I want to play, but now I have the 3rd problem on your list, every time I finish a round or try to exit a round, I am sent back to my desktop and Crossfire is closed out and no message even pops up. Can you please tell me help clear things up on what you mean by keep clicking to get back to the lobby or the ALT + TAP thing.

when i start cross fire everything shoes up except the start button its like a square with out the bottom right corner and the start button is in the buttom right corner -.- wtf everything else works except the stupid start button i uninstalled it and redownloaded it nothing works need help

Try downloading the game from another mirror, this happened to me today when trying to get CF running on my new computer, So I uninstalled and downloaded from another mirror, turned out to work just fine. Hope that helps
