suggested change to MM
sence soldiers can boost early in match, and can stack high spaces with lots of soldiers, then camp it... I think that after time limit, soldiers should lose.
when there is just 2 mutants left and all remaining soldiers or stacked up high, there is next to no hope for mutants sence they can only attack from one spot (if there are more they can destract one boost spot and boost from another)... not the case when just one or 2 left,
it seems it would be more balanced if when time gets low, the soldiers have to go and hunt down the remaining mutants..... to prevent soldiers from stacking high spots and spamming the remaining 1 or 2 mutants when they try and boost up.....
DONT flame, its a good idea.

how is it a bad idea?
if u have 3 soldiers left, all bosted to a spot.... only 2 boost spots to that area..
only 2 mutants left, or maybe only one.... TELL me, unless the remaining 3 soldiers fail epiclly and run out of ammo.... how do the mutants win? if there is just one mutant left all they have to do is wait out the timer..... HOW is this balanced?
if the objective of MM was to KILL ALL INFECTED, not just SURVIVE. it would improve the mode greatly. i cant really see any argument other wise....
game play would go like this... First 2 mutants would try like crazy to infect as many people.. (like normal) SOLIDERS would be camped on high ground. LIKE NORMAL... if mutants dont over come soldiers, their ranks will ether not Grow or will be thined down... once timer starts ticking down soldiers will have to get off their high spots and track down the remaing mutants to win the game...
From a story stand point, soldiers total fail if they allow the mutants to live any ways. It would seem their objective would be to KILL ALL mutants any ways from the get go.......
DONT SAY i have a bad idea then offer no explanation...... -
You do realize that the Mutants do win about 80% of the time though right?
Its a decent idea, but the Mode is already balanced and is not going to be change. The soldiear have good camping spots and good amo while the Zombies have 2000+ HP to kill the soldiers. The key to the game is to survive 2 minutes or Kill everybody. -

your 2 sentence contradict each other....
I dont think the mode is under balanced in favor of mutants,, i think that most people have not figured out the tricks of the mode yet......
THE simple fact the a scenario exist with only one mutant remaining and CANNOT win simple because he cannot boost to the remaining soldiers makes the mode unbalanced. THIS sentence can not be argued against, if u think it can, then there is something wrong with your head.
SIMPLE fact is this, if a situation can be created where it becomes impossible for one side to win (not accounting for skill levl obviously) then the rules need to be changed because the current mode structure is unbalanced. -
I agree with the roof-camping thing at Zone 13 though.
As a Soldier I've blocked that window-thing alot because groups of 6 people run towards the side to boost each other up there, you wouldn't believe how many people started to insult me for doing it. They called their roofcamping a 'strategy'. Well, me blocking you for getting up there is a strategy too.
I personally think it ruins MutantMode, if there's 2 mutants and like 8 soldiers up there it's hopeless. -

The mutants already win over 90% of the games anyways. You want to make it easier for them? -

Unless you only play with very intelligent people that all know exactly what to do (i.e. group at the same high spot, shoot on mutants only when necessary, stay on the spot even when out of ammo, etc.) the mode is mutants friendly, really.
They win more than 9 times out of 10.RendoRazor wrote: »THE simple fact the a scenario exist with only one mutant remaining and CANNOT win simple because he cannot boost to the remaining soldiers makes the mode unbalanced. How can there be only one mutant left ? Unless you're a stupid mutant, you should always be able to transform one human at the very beginning of the round (draw your knife and "shoot" someone, if you get mutated, so he is immediatly) and you should always be with lots of people so that the chaos allow at least one of you to transform another peon, at that point, it's just a matter of time before mutants win. If both mutants do that, how can there be only one mutant left ?RendoRazor wrote: »SIMPLE fact is this, if a situation can be created where it becomes impossible for one side to win (not accounting for skill levl obviously) then the rules need to be changed because the current mode structure is unbalanced.
Those situations are 90% of the time from a human perspective. Once more than half of the players get mutated, humans almost never win.
The only thing i hate in Mutation mode is the fact that sometimes, some mutants can touch me and mutate me even though they are 15 ft away from me... -

Some games do not enough people so there will be NO (read: no) 2 mutants. It will be impossible to win that since your can't stack on your own. Is that fair? -

I commend this post,i understand that playing MM isn't exactly meant to be completely fair/fair for each side However, when soldiers boost up like that it goes from fair to fail

You do realize that the mutants could simply run away because they're like a billion times faster? You'd never be able to catch them.
You do realize that if ur stacked on a building being soldiers, and theres only 1 or 2 mutants running will do u now good?if u cant infect them too You Lose.... -
Ok how is 1 soldier suppose to take on 15 Mutants? Almost every game I play I'm always the last one with the mutants coming for me (m60 adv =D!). By making the Mutants outlast the Soldiers who is really doing the camping?
But ether way even if people do get onto the top if they are on the edge you can always hit them (atleast my sickle does). How do you beat people who stack on each other? Stack with your team

If your talking about the boost spot on roof on 13, and BL Spawn for Port.
You can get up with 1 person for both of them.
