of course zombie mode klls dont count... its so easy to get kills in it...

almost everyone has at least a 1 kdr, and most have atleast a 2kdr

so kills/deaths don't count right?

Nope. Kills and deaths in NM will not count towards your overall KDR. I played a 47-10 game and when I exited my KDR was 0.

I didn't know about it before the patch. In fact I didn't know it until I finished my first game.

Also, I bought the RPK.

Im 1 of those lucky ppls which guys didn't buy anything "big" (M60..).

In this mode the u don't have to repair the weapons you used in the match . So the earned gp is all yours .
In fact this is what I like most: that we earn more gp than in a knife match or in elimination mode, or in ghost mode (as BL)

I play chinese version for about 6/7 months and i level up at staff sargeant without 1 kill or dead, always NM.
In the ch version they have a VIP class that you can buy and you will jump 2 times higher and shoot a awm like it was automatic, almost every player that as that VIP was always with 100/5 100/10.
If the k/d count it will be epic the ratio of everyone, just think like this:
You are recruting expert players to you clan and you see a guy with a k/d of 3 and you think that he is good, but no he sucks just because he is always playing NM.
