in cf CN there are very few "brazilians" or high pingers.. Most are surprisingly under 10 ping and a lot are 7 ping... However I found something I haven't seen before lol. We need a server like this except for EU/ America

Crossfire VN has much better server coding then our version. Thus on their servers, 1 ping is possible. But on Crossfire NA, people like Delaco who live in Toronto only manage a 4 ping.

I'm american and I got a 170-180 ping in CF japan (no different from the West Coast server)

I want to play the jap or cn version of CF. When I played Sudden Attack, I couldn't stand the NA version and would only play on the SEA version. I got on a team that went to the tournament and then I quit and idk what happened lol. I like the european/asian counter-part to the american games, they are ALWAYS better. Better players/gameplay.

That's not CF VN. I'm Viet and VN words are just like English but with accents. We speak French as our second language and so the wording is the same. I learnt Vietnamese before English and I have distinct memories of learning a who truckload of English in my first week of school. After a week, I could talk in full sentences... All in all, that writing is Cantonese, I think.

Think of how large the U.S is compared to Vietnam. There's obviously going to be more people with low ping.

Also, because the words are in Vietnamese, which isn't spoken around the world like English, most of the people are going to be from Vietnam.

You learned English in the first few weeks of school and were proficient at it because studies overwhelmingly show that if you learn a different language in-between the ages of 7-10 then you will become proficient at the language, and Vietnam obviously took advantage of this. America has failed to adopt this strategy in the education system and wonders why kids who study Spanish/French extremely hard still don't know the language well enough to speak it to natives fluently.

This is why other countries' students can speak english fairly well/well, it's because they know it's a universal language, and they get them started at the right age.

his ping was between 1-3, but ofcourse this is the westcoast server. i don't think it really makes that much of a difference though, meaning i don't think it's impossible to have 1 ping on the beta and alpha servers

This isn't really the reason, might be a very minor factor however.

It has to do with the network devices (highly influenced by the number) between the server and the user. 2 people can live side by side from eachother... but if they have 2 seperate ISP's on different lines (aka a third party not leasing lines), they will both have different pings to the server.

Dang right son. I'm 17 and I know Vietnamese, English, a fair bit of French, and a bit of Korean (from my GF who desparatly is still trying to teach me)
