AWP "breaking symptoms" / pistols for CQC
As above, what are exactly drawbacks of not repairing sniper rifles such as AWM?
When I damaged M16 it was decreasing accuracy, but with AWM I can'ts see any notice about what parameter is nerfed [no info on the weapon icon].
Also, speaking about pistols, which one you prefer for CQC: Anaconda or Deagle and _why_?

The deagle is better close and long range.

Well, I'm kinda tired of "deagle-mania" so I'd rather chose Anaconda, mainly for draw speed - still in CF i can't switch weapons as fast as I could in CS wich is a pain for sniper.
Regarding repairs: so you DON"T have to repair AWP AT ALL?
I repair all my guns after every game... -

tbh best pistol for close range is the p228, it fires faster than the deagle and ana, has 13 bullets, is still a 1 or 2 bullet h.s kill, its also a lot easier to get headshots with, just dont use it over long range, mid range its ok but takes about 6 hits to kill.
deagle is far better than anaconda i have both, anaconda fails, and yes, i can aim.
i use a p228 with my AR and a deagle with my sniper. the slower draw allows the enemy to come closer, which means the deagle is more effective. -

I'm just confused about it: is there any _measurable_ effects on this one? I.e. I heared about rate of fire decrease on shotty, accuracy decrease on assault rifles, etc. AWM looks misterious for me. -
AFAIK, AWM's effectivity will decrease like M700. When you scope in and shoot, the bullet lands in the red dot. If you break the AWM, it will land a little around the dot. It's possible to snipe with an AWM like this because it's mostly one shot, but if you use SVDragunov, M700 or PSG-1, you can forget about headshots/being effective.I'm just confused about it: is there any _measurable_ effects on this one? Now the Desert Eagle/Anaconda clash.
If you use more the AWM than Secondary (I.E. you can quick scope so sometimes you don't need to take the handgun) it offers you a slightly faster quickflip.
Seeing from only effective point, Anaconda IS effective but requires extensive training, and even so, can't be compared to desert eagle. Anaconda does one shot headshots from longrange pretty good if you know how to, but longrange body kills are almost impossible, wich is not a problem with a Desert Eagle. Plus, Anaconda have one less bullet. This has often been FATAL to me when I snipe. And last but not least, Desert Eagle is better than most rifles IMHO. I use it when I break FAMAS'es for GP. Drop the damned thing and go Deagling. In fact, Deagle can be used as a primary weapon because you can put up against SMG/MG/Shotgun and even some Assault rifles with it. The two shots kill also provides an up side for the non auto shooting wich the assault rifles have.
Overall: Anaconda is good, but too awkward to use. I myself have one anaconda, Two Deagle and Two Deagles camo, and I'm happy with 'em. I know how to use an Anaconda now, but still keep on deagle.
