Best gun before scar light?

Title says all. Yes I know the scar light is good and I want to get it . . . once I'm SSG4 (currently Sergeant) But in the meanwhile what is the best gun to get before SSG4, or for that matter before SSG? If you guys can, please include short explanation(not a book, SHORT). Nothing dumb like "it looks cool" or "im uber 1337 wid dis shiz" but something about stats or stuff. I am a good burst and tapper so recoil isn't much of a problem. Just tell me the overall feel of the gun in your hands.

NO pistols
NO snipers (lol Dragunov only but still . . .)
NO Shotguns
NO M60's
NO X-Mas stuff

If you guys have recommendations for other guns SSG and up that would be cool too, but please give a good explanation

Why don't you go look through the list of guns you have and compare the stats.

NO pistols

For gp: instead of scar l , xm8 Because recoil is great....with zp, go with the kriss super v its krazy good

Buy ZP and try getting the M4-C

I would say m4 or ak47, even the k2 is pretty good

I say it depends on the player i like the M4A1. The AK47 don;t really like cause of the recoil but that's only me i know a bunch that love it so i would say M4A1 and AK47
