i think u didn´t tryed it in MutatioN Zombie Or Pandemic mode :l cause its 1 of the best in that mode if u know how to use it of course -.-...........
i spray with m60 in Pandemic mutation or zombie mode and i survive cause M60 make the Zombie go Backwards and he cant infect me ...
Maybe the m60 would be good if one mutant was running at you in a straight line. But you have to consider if there are 2 or 3 or many many more coming at you. m60 is a good get away gun but when you are up hiding somewhere and are trying to get a zombie far ranged then no m60 would be a terrible option.
close range= m60 good
long range/hiding= NO
and even if the m60 has 200 bullets, if you are trying to kill a mutant, then you would have to aim at the head for maximum damage. m60 is very hard to aim at head.
If you really are not convinced, then don't come crying once you've wasted a hard earned 49000.
look at these stats:
Damage: 9/10
Accuracy: 2/10
Weight: 9/10
Recoil: 10/10

aw really sorry did i sayed i was going to use it in Mutant mode? no.

read first and pff long range obviously its bad at long range if u only spray -.- .

ok as ilooked at the replys.
1: the maps are 13th thingy and port modified.
2: weapons, there im not sure but i think instead of rpk or m60-adv there will be the m99 barrett 50 cal. (For pwnage at mutation mode)
3: You have green mutants but if they fall under 1000 hp they turn red, for people to know.

Ever tried to aim instead of spraying?
M60 is the best weapon if you want to work on your accuracy and recoil control.
If you're good enough with it, you can kill whatever comes first ^^ -

we are talking about what is the best gun for mutant mode, not the best gun for training. i agree that if you get good with m60 you would be amazing, however we are talking about the gun in general, not the person. or, at least that is what i am talking about.
