HGW game watcher

I know this problem came up for many of you like a week or 2 ago but not for me, until now that is. I try to load up crossfire and it just sits on the hgw game watcher forever not loading or doing anything, was there a solution to this? or do i just wait or what?

I think everyone is having this problem right now, and that can mean 2 things; Either the Xtrap server is down, or they are currently working on it. Just wait an hour and try again.

It's not a PC issue, don't listen to the poster above, they're most likely updating xtrap, you'll have to be patient and wait.

i too had this problem, but I think i found a way around (well it works for me at least)... Leave it stuck on that HGW game watcher screen for about 3-5 mins. Then, close the HGW screen and quickly reopen crossfire.. it should work.

Z8 = Suba. Same staff, same people, just a different site. You should visit the forums more often.

no im serious, every time i restarted my computer it ran fine.. try it, and no because not everyone has this problem

Restarting comp only works once, then you have to restart again.

Simple Fix That Worked For A Bunch Of Us

Step 1: When you see the HGWC box pop up and just sit there let it sit there.

Step 2: Leave HGWC running.

Step 3: Click your Crossfire icon and Relaunch Your Game.

Should work not making garuntees

yea, once u exit out of cf and then try to load it again it will have the same problem

It happened to me, too, tonight. I asked a friend of mine and he said he had the same problem in the afternoon. He just close out of HGW and restarted the game a couple of times. Even though I had to close out of HGW and restart the game (without restarting the computer, btw) about 10 times it worked fine for me after that.

However, I suppose what CrackinDomes is saying, is way easier and way faster.

My point is: don't give up, it should work fine in the end, haha.

yes happened to me but i just changed to compatibility windows xp sp2 (if you have vista probably w7 as well )
