Yes, if i ever start a new account i always get this gun, It's amazing, and as good as the AK47

AK 74 its one of the best Guns that i used i think the best Rifle when i do a new ACC i buy it cause its easy to me for use , i think recoil its ok dmg isn´t bad i just like it ,

and the gun isn´t good or bad it depends in the user who use the gun... like me i suck with Scar L but rock with thompson :B .( Except winchester and uzi they suck )

It's a great gun for learning recoil, but if you have lower fps it might cause you some trouble, not as much as the AK47 would.

I prefer K1 but you also should buy AK74. It has a strong power attack but it has not a good accuracy.
