i have both

theyre both good guns, and fairly similar, the power of the AK is better than the G36, but the G36 has a much faster ROF.
the AK is more accurate over range, unless you use and master the G36's scope.
up close theyre both good spray weapons, but the G36 is more manouverable, and is lighter.
AK is probably easier to master if youre looking to play SnD, personally i would go with the G36

What bothered me about the G36k is that it's out of bullets so quickly. Maybe because It was the first time I ever held one, but in Ghost Mode I was chasing a ghost and my gun was out of ammo when I killed my second ghost.
I never use the Scope of the G36k because it's just .. small.

but AK has sucky recoil was what I thought, but having an AK Knife and really using it for awhile you adjust to that. And it's very lethal.

Depends on what games you play.
For S&D I'd go with G36k. GhostMode AK.

not really, the scope is very accurate over long range, if you can use it, its a lot more accurate than the 47. it compensates for having a lower power, by having a very fast rate of fire, its recoil is more manageble. its still more powerful than the m4. personally i think the G36 is better, and i do use both guns because of their similarities

Might be stronger, but is way akwarder to use. Hit power is not the only thing to think about.

Personally I would use the G36K.

With G36K people call me a hacker. With AK they don't.
With G36K I kill people faster than light. With AK I am an hour.
With G36K I own. With AK I don't.
With G36K I keep my gun. With AK I drop it as soon as I spawn to search for another gun.

To each their own, personally i prefer the AK-47 but you may not try both of them out and make the choice for yourself.

Well... whenever i use my AK... i often get called hacker ^^... but that doesn't mean anythign really. Since im a m4+AK guy.

imo, both guns are awesome, with practice, it doesn't matter which of the two you take. Both are really brutal ;D. As for the long range... ak's first bullet always hits where u aim at, no matter how far. And do reckon... as long the person aint armored, its 3 bullets kill^^ (chest). So yeah... my advice is, go borrow both weps from someone who has it, try it out, and then chose. All rifles are excellent guns really... even the m16 pwns hard

(see kahlann) as long as u can use it. AK=massive power, but high recoil and low rate of fire and good accuracy. G36, has a high rate of fire, lower recoil, but lower damage, and imo... its a bit harder to use long range, but it aint bad.

depends if you are good at ak, ak is a hard gun to use, but if u are good at it, it is very good, if u cant; def go with g3

G36 is great for close range (in your face) its like a sub gun on 'roids. Long range..... not so good, the scope kinda compensates though. AK-47 is probably the most powerful rifle in game and when you burst you'll hit 40-60 almost every time and its great for long range shooting.

ive prefered the G36k myself.

course when the RPK comes out thats all ill prolly use for awhile. and thats saying alot as i got almost every gun in the game XD

Ak47. G36k is a headshot/rushers gun, but ak47 can do that and more
